If you feel a change is needed, feel free to make it yourself! Wikipedia is a wiki, so anyone (yourself included) can edit any article by following the Edit this page link. Wikipedia convention is to be bold and not be afraid of making mistakes. If you're not sure how editing works, have a look at How to edit a page, or try out the Sandbox to test your editing skills.
If, for some reason, you are unable to fix a problem yourself, feel free to ask someone else to do it. Wikipedia has a vibrant community of contributors who have a wide range of skills and specialties, and many of them would be glad to help. As well as the wiki community pages there are IRC Channels, where you are more than welcome to ask for assistance.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page. Thanks and happy editing, Alphax τεχ 07:52, 19 October 2005 (UTC)

Ivar Aasen
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 03:47, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
Adoption request
[edit]Hello there, ReidarM! I'm Netalarm and I've been around on Wikipedia for quite some time now. It appears that you've indicated that you want to be adopted on your user page. While you can wait for an adopter to come forward and offer to adopt you, I would highly recommend that you also actively seek an adopter. From the cases I've seen, I've noticed that it is often much faster if the adoptee also actively participates in the matching process.
When choosing an adopter (click here for a list), there are a few things you'll want to check. First of all, you'll want to check if they are available. The column with the label "Adoption status" will tell you if they are able to accept more adoptees. You may also want to choose an adopter that has similar interests, which are indicated in the "Interests" column, though it is not required you do so. Once you have found an adopter you want, you may message them on their talk page and ask to be adopted. If you have any questions about this process (or about Wikipedia in general), feel free to message me on my talk page.
Once again, welcome to Wikipedia! Netalarmtalk 22:35, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
- Hello Reidar, if you want I could adopt you, just let me know on your talk! Petrb (talk) 14:06, 21 December 2010 (UTC)

- Hi there Reidar. Thank you very much for your kind note. I responded but have now deleted the discussion. Something troubling was posted somewhere else and I think we should let all of this go. Maybe it's just Max/Seneschally's style that's a little difficult and we really don't have to worry about the family. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt again. Also I'm unwatching those pages, which hopefully someone will eventually better source. DinDraithou (talk) 02:42, 30 November 2010 (UTC)
Notice (closed/shelved)
[edit]Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.Max Kaertner (talk) 00:39, 30 November 2010 (UTC).
- I have shelved this complaint. Your (and DinDraithou's) assiduity is appreciated, but a lesson learnt for all is that objective thoroughness and civility will gain more for us as a community. In this regard, I also owe you both a small apology for not being hitherto better-informed myself. I had given a reference on the AFD page (for DinDraithou's benefit) to a book by J. Anthony Gaughan on Thomas O'Donnell, MP, which I remember made a reference to the Tyrconnell origins (as a tradition) of the Castlegregory O'Donnells. I just googled up "Thomas O'Donnell, MP"+"J.Anthony Gaughan" and got this: [1], a page of a review of that book by Sean O Luing in 1983, where he refers to the Tyrconnell origins of these O'Donnells. Had I known this before it might have simplified our exchange. We live and learn. My apologies to Francis Martin O'Donnell for any awkwardness all this may have caused. "Sticking your nose into another person's life"
[edit]"I always thought badly of those who go around ...sticking their snot-ridden noses into another person's life", a very suitable quote from Vladimir Putin [2]. Obsession can be a dangerous thing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.44.81.23 (talk) 12:35, 24 April 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Ipa-Nima
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Ipa-Nima requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. StraussInTheHouse (talk) 11:40, 19 June 2018 (UTC)
The article Ipa-Nima has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unsourced, not notable.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Mccapra (talk) 21:15, 27 February 2019 (UTC)
