Hello, and thank you for going back to fix the stats at Borja Oubiña. As to sourcing, I see no probem with using any reliable source, which includes stats databases, so long as the page cited clearly verifies the content it's sat next to. In your example, if Soccerway shows the player joining a club in 2006 then there's nothing wrong with using it to verify that fact, although a reliable news report of the player signing might be preferable (and might give you more useful information). Just don't fall into the trap of using stats pages to verify things that they don't, like guessing that a player had fallen out of favour just because the stats show him not making many appearances. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 09:59, 23 March 2015 (UTC)

Titles of refs

Hello RR,

when I asked you to add the specific titles of the refs for the statistics chart, you added the BDFUTBOL.com correctly, but you also added the SOCCERWAY.com in exactly the same manner when they are completely different (example "ALEIX VIDAL: ALEIX VIDAL PARREU" for BDFutbol, just "ALEIX VIDAL" for Soccerway). Why? Maybe just a human mistake, happens to all of us.

Yes, but in the example you provide the player is not known as MIGUEL ANGELO: MIGUEL ANGELO FERREIRA DE CASTRO, he's known as MIGUEL ANGELO, the second part is a sub-title. --84.90.219.128 (talk) 04:10, 8 April 2015 (UTC)

Please, stop using SOCCERWAY PROFILE in your "improvements". Instead, SEARCH for PROPER REFERENCES and LINKS to IMPROVE, indeed, these pages. Only citing SOCCERWAY here and there will not help.

This isn't the first time we tell you this. AL just lost a gigantic amount of time fixing your "improvement" in Mário Felgueiras, and I'll lose at least an hour in Erik Lima.

Speaking of good article nominations, found the following in my (major) cleanup in Mário Felgueiras: 1 - in one sentence (now removed), you said he picked up an injury as a Espinho player that prevented him playing against Penafiel (see here http://www.record.xl.pt/futebol/nacional/interior.aspx?content_id=245809). Not only is that not interesting (ALL players in the world suffer injuries, another thing would be if it was a serious injury), it is also completely false info. The ref shows Felgueiras PLAYING against Penafiel and being sent off, in PRE-SEASON, nothing to do with your phrase; 2 - reference #22: Felgueiras speaks of clubs interested in his services, then speaks about S.C. Braga as the club that launched his career, you wrongly added Braga to the list of interested clubs; 3 - much more serious, ref #28, the only in international career: you said he made his under-21 debut in March 2008, then add this source that shows him on the bench (http://www.foradejogo.net/match.php?match=2009300031099031202).

From points #1 and #2, I deduce you have very little knowledge of the Portuguese language, am I correct? In item #3, I don't know very well what to say, in almost any language in the world you can clearly see Felgueiras was on the bench in that match report and that he did not enter the game.
