Disambiguation link notification
[edit]Hi. When you recently edited Hondo (film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chihuahua, Mexico (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Orphaned non-free media (File:AtasteofBlood67.jpeg.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:AtasteofBlood67.jpeg.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:12, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
The Unfinished Symphony
[edit]Hi. I see you created the article The Unfinished Symphony a while back. Do you know of any sources for it (other than IMDB or self-published ones by the filmmaker). I'm thinking independent reviews, that sort of thing, awards, the type of thing that WP:MOVIE is looking for? Thanks, Morwen - Talk 00:39, 3 November 2012 (UTC)
- Hello. I'm sorry to bother you again, and I'm sorry this is so soon, but I just thought I'd let you know that I've nominated the above article for deletion. I've tried as hard as I can to find sourcing, but I'm coming up with nothing. If I'm missing something (it's quite hard to Google for, after all; and it's just about old enough that there's a chance it got covered in the local press without making the Internet), then please let us know. Thanks, Morwen (Talk) 20:01, 7 November 2012 (UTC)
The article The Assignment (unreleased film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- no reliable sources found
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. [edit]A discussion is taking place as to whether the article The Assignment (unreleased film) is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Assignment (unreleased film) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Orange Mike | Talk 20:52, 24 December 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link fixing one-day contest
[edit]I have decided to put on a mini-contest within the November 2013 monthly disambiguation contest, on Saturday, November 23 (UTC). I will personally give a $20 Amazon.com gift card to the disambiguator who fixes the most links on that server-day (see the project page for details on scoring points). Since we are not geared up to do an automated count for that day, at 00:00, 23 November 2013 (UTC) (which is 7:00 PM on November 22, EST), I'll take a screenshot of the project page leaderboard. I will presume that anyone who is not already listed on the leaderboard has precisely nine edits. At 01:00, 24 November 2013 (UTC) (8:00 PM on November 23, EST), I'll take a screenshot of the leaderboard at that time (the extra hour is to give the board time to update), and I will determine from that who our winner is. I will credit links fixed by turning a WP:DABCONCEPT page into an article, but you'll have to let me know me that you did so. Here's to a fun contest. Note that according to the Daily Disambig, we currently have under 256,000 disambiguation links to be fixed. If everyone in the disambiguation link fixers category were to fix 500 links, we would have them all done - so aim high! Cheers! bd2412 T 02:32, 18 November 2013 (UTC)

- Hi Santryl, "Merge" doesn't seem appropriate for Boa (film) because the one sentence and imdb link are clearly not about the same film as New Alcatraz so there's nothing to merge. How about reverting yourself and seconding the PROD as "Not notable per WP:FILM", or even just boldly redirecting it to Boa#Film? This stub clearly hasn't a snowflake in hell's chance of surviving, unless someone finds some spectacular additional sources. PamD 14:22, 12 December 2015 (UTC)
