Creating articles[edit]

Thank you for creating the article Baidyapur. Before you start any more articles, please take the time to look at existing articles and understand the format in which articles on villages are written. The encyclopedia uses complete sentences, not just a list of bullet points as you wrote. See here the changes I made to prsent the information you had added in an acceptable encyclopedia form. There is a lot to learn about editing Wikipedia but it is an interesting journey. Enjoy your editing. PamD 18:49, 22 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Baidyapur Ramkrishna Vidyapith, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Inappropriate additions to Baidyapur Ramkrishna Vidyapith[edit]

You have asked on my talk page, why I reverted your edits to Baidyapur Ramkrishna Vidyapith
This was clearly explained in my edit summary:-

Rm staff list, pupils results and other unreferenced trivia - please see Wikipedia:WikiProject Schools/Article guidelines for what should, and should not, be included

If you had read those guidelines, you would see that we do not include stafflists, whilst we do not discuss the results of individual pupils, please seeWP:NOTPUBLICFIGURE, or pupils in general, please see WP:WPSCHOOLS/AG#N and Wikipedia:Avoid academic boosterism
I see from the post, immediately above, that you have already been warned about adding unreferenced material to that article, but have continued to add more unreferenced material - nothing in the article is referenced, so please consider this a second warning, and please do not add further material without reliable sources.
I will now remove the inappropriate material again, please do not reinsert it - Arjayay (talk) 13:08, 19 June 2015 (UTC)v[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Baidyapur Ramkrishna Vidyapith. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - Arjayay (talk) 19:27, 19 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for July 8[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of mountain ranges in Asia, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Sierra Madre, Cordillera Central and Georgia. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Reply - working in other language Wikipedias[edit]

Hallo, Sorry not to reply sooner, been away and using mobile only.

You can see a full list of other language Wikipedias at the bottom of the English Wikipedia main page - look at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page and if the one you are interested in is not listed there, follow the link to "Complete list of Wikipedias". There are 290 of them.

Your user name should work in all the Wikipedias, as far as I know.

Best wishes for your editing. PamD 15:35, 11 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Bhonpur requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Kayser491 (talk) 12:22, 18 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Painta, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.census2011.co.in/data/village/320142-sadya-west-bengal.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) Speedy deletion nomination of Painta[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Painta requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from census2011.co.in/data/village/320142-sadya-west-bengal.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

Welcome msg and some important sentences[edit]

Welcome.... Yea I have seen your new pages..... But I have removed SEE ALSO coloumn from Boinchi page.... Because our aim is to publish all about of our town, not it's near villages... And I also removed NORTH and SOUTH JAGADHATRI PUJO CLUBS, because some informations were wrong.... after JAGADHATRI pujo ur idea will be added in page.... and try to upload some fine photographs of JAGADHATRI devi or pandels or lighting.... The pictures ur provided were very low quality... try to upload HD photos... and no need to upload DURGA pujo or other photographs..... because we r proud for only JAGADHATRI pujo...... so we will only highlight jagadhatri pujo...... at last I see ur new pages... but some sentence that u wrote need to be changed.... see Boinchi page... and try to bulid that type sentences for new wiki for town or villages.... I also created Batika and Camelia Institute of Technology and Management.... see them also.. Thank u Suman6746 (talk) 15:47, 14 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Kalyankrit .jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.
