GA Nomination failed

[edit]

Hi, I am sad to say that your GA Nomination, Kepler-9c has failed because of the following reasons:

  1. It was not well-organized.
  2. Its info was not quite provided in a variety.
  3. The text should be a little more lucid.
  4. And most important of all it's a small article. Provide more info in the article and the article will be all right.

Thanks for asking my suggestions. Thank you.Ankit Maity 07:56, 18 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

As to the small article, remember that by the criteria we have to make it as broad as we can without going into detail that's too deep. For an object like Kepler-9c, I can't go into much detail because there simply isn't much about it. It is broad for its kind of article.
I could get another editor to help me fix the organization and clarity problems, though. It is a tad difficult for me to notice them myself.
For future reference, however, remember that these must go at the bottom of talk pages, not the top. :)

Anyways, thanks for your suggestions. --Starstriker7(Talk) 15:29, 18 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for the mistake. I did too much work that day and I had a hurry. I agree that there is not much information about that anyway. But let a little time pass, everything will be okay by then.Ankit Maity 05:25, 19 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Materialscientist (talk) 18:03, 20 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Good Articles will be running a GAN backlog elimination drive for the entire month of March. The goal of this drive is to bring the number of outstanding Good Article nominations down to below 50. This will help editors in restoring confidence to the GAN process as well as actively improving, polishing, and rewarding good content. If you are interested in participating in the drive, please place your name here. Awards will be given out to those who review certain numbers of GANs as well as to those who review the most. On behalf of my co-coordinator Wizardman, we hope we can see you in March. MuZemike delivered by MuZebot 23:51, 21 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

New York Cities class=??? importance=mid

[edit]

According to the New York state Assessment summary table, there are 43 cities in New York state with class=??? and importance = mid. Can you help with reducing that backlog of class ratings? Right now, I am working on Pennsylvania templates.--DThomsen8 (talk) 18:58, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, I'd love to help. :) --Starstriker7(Talk) 00:29, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Cities Assessment: Burwell, Cambridgeshire.

[edit]

The talk page for Burwell, Cambridgeshire says that you assessed it and to holler if we want feedback? The article's nowhere near finished, and there's a listy draft in my user space that I'm using as a guideline trying to (very slowly!) rewrite it, but I'm curious how the article now stands and for any suggestions you may have? - JVG (talk) 10:58, 3 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Haha, that was quite a long time ago. It's been a while since I've really looked at a city article, but I'll gladly help where I can. :)
However, it is a busy week, so I can't guarantee I'll be able to really help out until the weekend. I'll put a few cursory comments on the side today, and I'll look into it with more detail during the weekend. --Starstriker7(Talk) 04:18, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the swift reply and feedback! :) - JVG (talk) 20:44, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You are most welcome. :) --Starstriker7(Talk) 05:33, 8 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I am a Wikipedian, who is studying the phenomenon on Wikipedia. I need your help to conduct my research on about understanding "Motivation of Wikipedia contributors." I'd like to close and promote this topic candidacy, but am waiting on a response to Adabow's question, if you could answer it. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 17:14, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the heads-up. It has been done. --Starstriker7(Talk) 03:28, 30 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I looked at your DYK nomination for KOI-428b. I was wondering if you have an article for KOI-428 in the works. If not, I think we should remove the Main article: KOI-428 pointer for now. Crisco 1492 (talk) 09:45, 4 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'll see if I can get it done soon. If I do, could you help me incorporate it into the DYK hook? I never did find out how to do that. --Starstriker7(Talk) 05:37, 5 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Article is done, and never mind my previous comment; I nominated it on a different hook. --Starstriker7(Talk) 03:33, 6 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, cheers! BTW, I am not sure how to do a multiple-nomination either. Maybe one of the regulars would know more, like User:Dr. Blofeld. Crisco 1492 (talk) 06:46, 6 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps. I will ask him when the need next arrives. :D --Starstriker7(Talk) 15:22, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
