Hallo, Thank you for creating Cakewalk (film) . When you create an article like this with a "disambiguated" title, please make sure that the reader can find it from the basic name (ie Cakewalk), by adding or expanding a hatnote, or adding the article to a disambiguation page. This helps the reader to find your article, and also reduces the chance of a future careless editor creating a duplicate article with a slightly different disambiguator. I've fixed this one (adding it to Cakewalk (disambiguation), which is linked from Cakewalk). Thanks, and Happy Editing. PamD 09:40, 18 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hi I am from kolkata. And I started editing after speaking with some bengali wikipedians. Previously I used to edit anonymously and after talking with some bengali wikipedians(they are experienced and they are editing wikipedia since long years some are writing on bengali language, some english language and some are adding photos on wikimedia) they suggested me to register an account. And I registered an account and started editing by taking their advise and I also participated a bengali wikiproject and I was one of the winners. And on 25 may I also had attended a zoom survey for wikipedia. After the bengali project I started editing in english wikipedia and here also I took help of my seniors who told me to start editing by registering an account. Now recently I added tags(Advert, COI) on an article name Annwesha Hazra. I added advert tag because the article was written like an advertisement. And I added COI tag because the editor who has created the article he/she has created the article in my multiple name. After that I was selected for a checkuser. And I am not sure why they had selected me as a checkuser. As I started my editing journey by taking advice from my senior editor and I and now recently editing only through afc process. And I saw my editing pattern is different and their editing pattern is different. Now I dont know why I am selected as a checkuser. Bengal Boy (talk) 4:47, 27 May 2021 (UTC) Thank you

Decline reason:

You are blocked for violating WP:SOCK. You seem to be stating that you were indeed violating WP:SOCK, as you were taking specific advice from other editors. There are no grounds here to consider the block invalid. Yamla (talk) 10:25, 27 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

@Yamla: I haven't violated WP:SOCK as I use only this account. I don't have any other account. This is my one and only account. There must be a confusion. So I request to check again. After I was regarded as a checekuser with the other id's, i followed up all the other mention id's and I notice the following things:-
1. My editing pattern(TryingToDo)- At first I used to edit article directly as I didn't knew rules and for this many of my article got deleted. But after knowing the rules and process of AFC i started creating through AFC process. I had created 12 article through afc. And I pass my article through AFC process only when I finish writing the whole article.
2. DasSoumik- This user write all the article directly and do not follow the process AFC for creating article. And usually The user do not finish writing up any article and generally create article as redirect.
3. GoyalAlokesh- This user generally write about actor and contribute to wikipedia with a gap of many days. And this user write mostly about BLP.
4. Amar Bangladesh Official- This user generally create redirect article.
5. Mysuperradishfinger- This user hasn't contributed in wikipedia.
6. Alokechatterjee3- This user hasn't created any article except Draft:Annwesha Hazra.
7. Mynameisparitoshmandal- This user has only created the article of Annwesha Hazra and also he has accepted that he does paid edit.
8. Alokchatterjee- This user has done very few edits and even the edit which the user has done was not valid and that's why senior editor reverted the user's changes.
9. Myselfalok- This user has done 5 edit count and the edit was not valid so senior editor has also reverted this user's edit.
As per as my observation, i have observe that my editing pattern is totaly different from the above mentioned user. And the type of edit i do they do not do the same.

P:S- Among the above mention user i only create article through AFC process. So i would request to admin to look after this matter. Thanks in advance. Bengal Boy (talk) 11:57, 27 May 2021

TryingToDo, you posted the above reply to Yamla in the unblock review template. That should only contain your unblock request and the administrator's review. Help My Created Article

[edit]

Hello Titodutta, Liz, Yamla, JGHowes, Alison, AmandaNP, BDD, DGG, Materialscientist i am mentioning you guys because my created article is tagged as UPE And as you guys can see I was regarded as a sockpuppet. I have already explained everything on my talkpage with proper reason that I have no connection with those id. My only fault is that I regarded that id's who has COI on actress Annwesha Hazra and if you will see their id you will clearly see they has COI on Annwesha Hazra. And for that they has regarded my id as a sockpuppet. But i am saying the truth that I don't have connection with those id. And I am trying to prove myself that I have no connection with those id's but no one is replying me on my talk page. And now they have tagged my created article as UPE. My senior from whom I took advices all of them know that I am not a sockpuppet and I don't take money for creation of article. And I am also telling that I have no id except that and I don't take money and I don't edit on anyone's request. I have started editing when Pinakpani told me that I should register myself on wikipedia and then only i should edit. So had started editing by taking advice of pinakpani. After that through bengali project Naribad i met my senior editor Sumita di, Sujata di, Suvendu da, and I started talking advice from them. But now I am regarded as a sockpuppet without doing a single crime. So I am feeling demotivated right now. I don't know what should I do. But I think you should take a step for this. As I am a member of bengali wikipedian community. I wrote every article cause I like to contribute on wikipedia. And I don't take money and I don't have COI on a single subject. Now my created article is tagged as UPE. I don't have problem if those article get deleted cause I am not working for money and I don't have COI. So I don't have problem. But problem is that I am feeling like a criminal without doing anything. I was editing cause I love to edit. Now it is on your hand what you will do. Thank you. Hi Titodutta, Liz, Yamla, JGHowes, Alison, AmandaNP, BDD, DGG, Materialscientist, L235 As I am not a checkuser still an editor regarded me as a checkuser. And I have explained my reason but I didn't get a single reply from last 14 days. So my open challenge for you guys. If you can prove I am a checkuser. Then I'll do what ever you will say. I am ready to give every single prove what you need. Now all is up to you. Let's start and prove that your checkuser tool is 100% right. I'll prove that I'm 100% right. If you prove I'll do whatever you will say. Thank you. Bengal Boy (talk) 09:29, 10 June 2021 Bengal Boy (talk) 09:30, 10 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop pinging me. If you wish to make another unblock request, WP:GAB explains how, but don't ping me again. You'll need to address your earlier claim that you were taking advice about your edits from other users. --Yamla (talk) 10:12, 10 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yamla here [1] you declined my appeal that is why I pinged you and yes I took advise from my senior editor who used to edit in bengali language as I am new so I was not able to take advice from english language editors. Bengal Boy (talk) 10:42, 10 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
STOP PINGING ME. You will not get another warning. --Yamla (talk) 10:45, 10 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
TryingToDo, the CheckUser tool is certainly not "100% right", but it's right enough for our purposes on Wikipedia. I'm more than certain enough of my conclusions from this tool to stand by my block wholeheartedly, and I'm confident that any CU who looks into the matter will agree with me (CUs: see cuwiki if you want to skip the work). Also, I recommend that if a further unblock request is unsuccessful, that this user's tpa be revoked at the same time. Best, KevinL (aka L235 · t · c) 02:57, 11 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
