Hello, ValkyrieV, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Copying within Wikipedia

[edit]

Smile emoji Hi ValkyrieV! Thank you for your edits to Five Civilized Tribes. It looks like you've copied or moved text from one or more pages into that page, and while you are welcome to do so, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. If you've copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thanks! DanCherek (talk) 02:55, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Confederacy. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hi ValkyrieV, I think that you need to change the title of District Attorney Tim Harris. If you take a look at WP:NCPDAB, articles about people are usually disambiguated with parantheses. So District Attorney Tim Harris might be better titled Tim Harris (district attorney) or Tim Harris (attorney), similar to Mark Peterson (district attorney) or George S. Patton (attorney). Leschnei (talk) 23:13, 24 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Can you teach me how to do that? I wish I had phrased it that way originally when making the red link! Thanks. ValkyrieV (talk) 23:25, 24 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Never mind! I finally figured it out. Wasn't searching the right things yesterday. Thanks for letting me know! ValkyrieV (talk) 23:29, 24 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I moved it to Tim Harris (attorney). It should use the shortest possible and without capitals. CambridgeBayWeather, Uqaqtuq (talk), Huliva 16:08, 25 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Jason Bollinger

[edit]

Hello, ValkyrieV,

Thank you for creating Jason Bollinger.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Notability for politicians does not extend to candidates for election - at least not until after they have achieved office. See WP:POLITICIAN.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Paul W}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Jason Bollinger moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Jason Bollinger, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
