Hello Jhm795, if your question is about why your article is not being displayed when you search for the same on internet search engines, the answer is that newly created articles take some time to get indexed via search crawlers. So perhaps wait a month or so after the creation of the article before checking again. Having said that, I feel your current article The BBC Sessions (Electric Light Orchestra album) replicates an article existing since 2008: Live at the BBC (Electric Light Orchestra album). I would suggest you include your article's contents into the older article (including the references) and redirect your article to the older article. So Robert McClenon (current DRN coordinator) has suggested a roll call to call for listed volunteers to reply whether they are willing to actively assist at the DRN. One method to do so will be to use a bot to send Reminders to all listed volunteers and get them to reply if they're willing to help. The bot could then update the list and remove volunteers who do not reply in a stipulated time or state that they won't be able to actively help. We are however unsure on how to use a bot. Script mal-functioning..[edit]

Can any-body check whether User:Andy M. Wang/closeRM.js is functioning as desired.In my case it prompts me to enter my reason for the close, but only adds an edit summary with the entered reason rather than inserting the close templates etc. Posting it here because the script dev. is highly infrequent on en.wiki.Please ping while replying back.Thanks! Still need help with refs[edit]

I'm still struggling with refs in this article (many thanks for help so far received).

I think I've now got the hang of adding a page ref, but I'd like to move Terraine's book referred to in Note 11 into the Reference section, so that I can add more page references to it. Last time I did it step by step so that you could see what it was that I did:

rewrite citation using {{cite book}} template and rewrite short-form reference to use {{sfn}} template
replace citation template with {{sfn}} template
add citation template to §References
added {{page needed}} template

Repeat this for Terraine and bob's yer uncle.

James Little[edit]

James Little is a talent agent and managing director of Screen Talent Agency Limited.

His career in the entertainment industry started at the end of 1978 when he joined Birmingham punk rock band Spizz Energi with whom he played until 1982. During this time, he co-wrote the band's first hit 'Soldier Soldier' and also played on their second hit, 'Where's Captain Kirk' on the Rough Trade label.

After two albums on A&M Records and three further singles with Rough Trade, he left the band in 1982, and played with a variety of other bands, including Repetition with whom he recorded a John Peel session, before quitting being a musician to form music publishing company and record label Hobo Railways in 1986.

In 1990 he joined CBS Records as Professional Manager in their music publishing division, leaving at the end of 1992 to concentrate on building his own artist management company, where he managed Sony recording artist Davy Spillane, IRS Records' act The Surfing Brides and Welsh singer Zoe Niblett.

From there, at the end of 1995 he moved into music video production at the now-legendary Spidercom Films, home - at the time - of directors Guy Ritchie and Alex de Rakoff, and then at the music video production department of Saatchi and Saatchi in London.

By the end of the nineties though, the writing was on the wall for the music industry, and a combination of the internet and piracy saw to it that marketing budgets for records were severely curtailed. Please disregard the unwelcoming tone by certain editors who tend to "bite" newbies rather than help. Obviously you have a subject you think would be an asset to the encyclopedia and should be added? Well, first of all: you have come to a section of Wikipedia that is reserved for asking help in editing the encyclopedia itself. There are other sections specific to your request such as: Request an Article for Creation; or even a section on Creating Your First Article (although I would suggest editing WP for quite some time before attempting this. There is also a nice area that is for asking advice and guidance called: The Teahouse. Before you do any of this however, review the requirements for "notability" of people here: Notability: music and see if your subject qualifies. How does Wikipedia/MOS handle consecutive abbreviated letters in a name?[edit]

How does Wikipedia/MOS handle consecutive abbreviated letters in a name? I looked through the MOS, but I was not able to find anything. Let's say that a person's name is J. W. Ledford. What is the appropriate punctuation and spacing? Specifically, is there a space after the "J." and before the "W." (like this: J. W.)? Or not (like this: J.W.)? Not so fast Joseph A. Spadaro and NotTheFakeJTP - that MOS rule actually violates WP:ENGVAR. British English tends to omit the full stops, e.g. the BBC website writes "George W Bush". Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 08:12, 27 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. But ... (1) If that MOS rule violates some other Wikipedia rule, I assume there is some other forum in which to make that complaint and to raise that issue. Right? (I assume so.) It's not entirely clear from WP:ENGVAR that this is one of the things covered, as the spelling for color/colour is covered, since MOS:INITIALS flat-out says "An initial is followed by a full stop (period) and a space (e.g. J. R. R. Tolkien)". (I note for what it's worth that the example given is not only an English person, but possibly the most English person imaginable.)
