Yak-Service (Як-Сервис) is an airline based in Moscow, Russia. It operates executive passenger charters. It was established on 12 February 1993 and started operations on 25 November 1993. The airline was banned from operating with the EU from 24th July 2009[citation needed] to November 2009[1].

Accidents and incidents

On 7 September 2011 at 16:50MSK, RA-42434 Yak-42 crashed on take-off from Tunoshna Airport, Yaroslavl, Russia; and was destroyed, killing all but two aboard. The plane had been chartered to carry the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl KHL hockey team, killing most of them.[2][3]
