Miss Universe Laos (in Lao: ມີສຢູນີເວີຣສ ລາວ) is a national Beauty pageant in Laos. It is privately produced by TV Lao Network[citation needed] and is broadcast live on TV Lao's HD channel.

History

Miss Universe Laos was founded in 2015 by TV Lao Network, which is the current franchise holder of Miss Universe in Laos.[1][2]

It was known as Miss Laos before it was rebranded in 2017.

Souphaphone Somvichith, Miss Universe Laos 2017, became the first Lao participant at the Miss Universe pageant.[citation needed]

The Miss Laos company holds a separate national pageant, the Miss Universe Laos competition. The winner will be the official representative of Laos at the Miss Universe beauty pageant. The pageant is broadcast live on TV Lao HD.
