Stub sorting[edit]

Hello Maiō T.. Thank you for tagging an article as a stub. I noticed that you used the {{stub}} template. In the future, it would be greatly appreciated if you could sort the article to a subcategory by using one of these templates instead. For example, you can use {{US-novelist-1960s-stub}} for an American novelist born in the 1960s. Of course, if you can't find a proper category, you can always use the {{stub}} tag and someone else will sort it for you, or you can propose a new stub template or category here. Thanks!

Renaming categories[edit]

Hi, you seem to have created Category:Caribbean national under-20 association football teams and moved the contents of Category:Caribbean national under-20 football teams into it. This appears to be OK, but in future please follow the process at WP:CFD. ThIs allows other editors to review the proposal, and the process automatically alerts the relevant Wikiprojects aboutthe proposed change. Try it sometime; it comes with practice! The instructions on the CFD page should work, so let me know if you have any problems. I don't use them any more, as I do it from memory these days. This is what I typed on the category page: {{subst:cfr-speedy|Caribbean national under-23 association football teams}}. The resulting template gives you the text to paste onto the Speedy renaming page; all you have to add is the specific justification. (I did it already, see WP:CFDS.)
Giving a justification for the speedy process is a bit technical. It's probably easier to make a full nomination, using {{subst:cfr|Caribbean national under-23 association football teams}} on the category page. The resulting template will have a link to the daily CFD log and text for you to paste there. If the case fits the speedy criteria, you can get a quick result just the same.
By the way, to make a link to a category, just add a colon inside the square brackets. Here's one: Category:Caribbean national under-23 football teams. – Fayenatic London 20:52, 10 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Well done for listing U-19 categories at WP:CFDS! I inserted the code for the reason, C2D. Once you have nominated one with a reason and a signature, you can list others underneath (rather than above) with just the old and new names.

Ah, tough luck, I had assumed that the articles were named consistently. The speedy page has strict criteria, otherwise renaming might happen too quickly for interested editors to see the notice.

Hello. I see that you are retargetting redirects from teams to disambiguation pages. Firstly, please be careful not to leave malplaced disambiguation pages: if there is no primary topic then the disambiguation page should be at the base name, not a redirect to it. Secondly, completing each change involves fixing the pages which link to the title. For example, the articles, templates, etc. listed at Special:WhatLinksHere/Canada national basketball team need to be edited to link instead to the correct specific article such as Canada men's national basketball team. File rename (move) requests[edit]

Please be aware your requested name needs to have the extension included, ie, .jpg .png .svg ect. any further request missing this information will be denied. Plural form[edit]

Why did you mass change "were" to "was" in the ice hockey IIHF tournaments that consisted of two tournaments? For example "The 2018 IIHF U18 World Championship Division I was two international under-18 ice hockey tournaments organised by the IIHF", OBVIOUSLY you cannot use "was" with plural form "tournaments" so you broke grammar in many articles, it should be "were".
