HUSTLE

Hi, Nikki. I need your help. Somebody asked in the project about a photo of Giant Silva. I man in flickr have photos and he want that we use them. Can you help me with the photos? I don't know the wrestlers that appear, except giant silva. http://www.flickr.com/photos/arq199/collections/72157617628147771/ Thanks --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 14:29, 4 July 2010 (UTC)

Hi. Thanks for your help. Andrew give me more photos and said me this Thanks for putting my photos on Wikipedia, you did a great job of picking the good ones. I'm especially proud that my photo is being used for Razor Ramon HG's article. I met him and he was a great guy

The photos for Kazushige_Nosawa were actually of Banzai Chie, but someone has already edited them

I've found some photos I took last May at Hustle when I was taking photos for the Rene Dupree official fanclub. There's some good photos in there (including some spanking :), I hope you can use these too.

Keep in touch and I'll mail you if I take photos at Hustle in the future

Regards

Andrew

Money in the Bank records

You are asking for sources when as mentioned before the sources are WWE.com AND the Wikipedia page. However, if you feel the need to ask for sources, why do you not require the same of the official times used on the PPV match information. Also, why are the records not required on the Royal Rumble? Only some of the records have sources, yet miraculously, all are allowed. It's like we're somehow requiring one set of rules for one page and another set of rules for another. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.13.51.114 (talk) 23:15, 21 July 2010 (UTC)

Early life section

Okay.If it's a pointless splitting of a section why is Randy Orton's page like this?Personal life and early life are two separate things in my opinion.Things need to be put in proper places.(MgTurtle (talk) 02:39, 25 July 2010 (UTC))

  1. I have no idea what an "Earl life section" is.
  2. Assuming you mean "Early life", give me a valid reason that doesn't include "in my opinion" why the sections should be split. A policy would be good, but I don't believe there is one. Your personal opinion is not policy and as such does not have to dictate how articles look.
  3. Explain how precisely "early" and "personal" lives differ please. Again, a reference to some sort of official policy here were be good, but again, I don't recall ever seeing one.
  4. Why are you intentionally leaving out part of my edit summary? I said "pointless splitting of short section" in both my edit summaries. [1] [2]
  5. In Orton's article, the early and personal life sections are both longer than 4 sentences and take up more than a line and a half, unlike Mark Henry's. What precisely is the point of having a section that a line and a half when it fits in another section and falls under the scope of another section?
  6. Your edit to Mark Henry also caused massive sideways elongation of the page. [3]
  7. Similarly with Matt Hardy - why separate out a short section when the result is two even smaller sections that both encompass the same type of information?
  8. Again with Matt Hardy did not look to see how you edit affected the article. In this case, it screwed up the images of the "In wrestling" section. Unhelpful. [4]
  9. It's only the "proper place" by your definition of the term. Please don't try to impose your will on me, it's really quite aggravating.
  10. Is there a reson you didn't put spaces between your sentences in your above comment? It's quite hard to read like that.
NiciVampireHeart♥ 03:53, 25 July 2010 (UTC)

Okay. You turned a discussion into an attack on how I type things. It's just how I typed it and you shouldn't focus on that. It's not hard to read. Mark Henry's page is one thing but Hardy's is another. Instead of this pointless list of items, why not help get a policy started so this doesn't happen. But to answer some of your questions, personal life involves spouses, children, and friends. Such as who people have dated and children and interests outside of their careers.Early life includes parents, siblings, high school careers, and how they got started in sports.I don't see why it's so hard to understand this. Also, this keeps the page in chronological order like an encyclopedia should be. I didn't try and impose any will on you. I meant that the info should be in chronological order. Also the images could have been fixed. Hardy's info is longer than four sentences each so I don't understand what is meant by that. I realized that the Mark Henry information should be together because both sections are short anyway. A policy would be very helpful for everyone. Please keep things about the pages and not about editors. That would also be helpful.(MgTurtle (talk) 14:04, 25 July 2010 (UTC))

  1. "Pointless list of items"? I was reponding to your initial post. I formatted my response like that so it would be easy to follow.
  2. It is not my job to write policy - it's up to the community to write a policy. I like to focus my editing on articles, not pointless arguing over whether something should be a policy or not. Besides, I was asking you to provide a policy to back up your edits. You have not done so.
  3. But why split it? Especially if you're going to have two very shot sections that barely qualify as paragraphs? It's not logical.
  4. "chronological order like an encyclopedia should be". According to whom? I've always believed that encyclopedia articles should be laid out logically, and that doesn't always mean chronologically. Again though, if you can provide a policy to back yourself, I'll happily obey it.
  5. I fail to see how a question about how you formatted your comment means that I did not "keep things about the pages".
  6. Asking a question is not an attack. I asked why you left out spaces. Where is the attack? Please read WP:ATTACK again before throwing out any more accusations.
  7. And actually, it's a lot harder to read for me than your second comment, in which you spaced your sentences. I consider it common courtesy to make comments as legible as possible for others, and that includes spacing sentences properly in my view.
  8. Finally, if you going to throw around false accusations of attacks, kindly refrain from posting to my talk page any further.
NiciVampireHeart♥ 05:14, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
For some reason, MgTurtle also did the same thing to Booker T's page. She keeps adding an Early Life section where it is not needed. Can you follow up with your fellow Wikipedians to perhaps moderate her editing abilities since there are several pages apparently where she keeps doing this. It is annoying, and it is WRONG. Thanks 71.176.58.237 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 05:01, 26 July 2010 (UTC).
Hmmm, four sentences and two lines on Booker Huffman for an early life section. I agree, that seems like another pointless split. Looking at the history of that article, MgTurtle has been edit warring quite a bit. I'd suggest you report it at WP:ANEW if it continues. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 05:14, 26 July 2010 (UTC)

After looking over some other pages and section, I've realized that I became Obsessed with the wrong thing. The whole problem was with the Matt Hardy page because I did the same thing to Jeff Hardy's page. Now granted Jeff has more information than Matt but I did not understand why it (Jeff's page) was left alone and not Matt's. This was the only page I was considering because I didn't even see Henry's page till later. I probably also took your questions out of context. Sorry about that. And I said why not help get a policy started, not creating one yourself. Also the closest article I've seen about chronological order is WP:Linking but I'm not sure that even goes with this. I thought that there was something about putting life events in chronological order but I guess I was mistaken. It still makes sense to me to put things like that but I guess sometimes you can't. Also using the word pointless, seems out of place here because there is a point but just not backed by a policy. Oh well, I guess that's all.(MgTurtle (talk) 11:52, 26 July 2010 (UTC))

WikiCup 2010 July newsletter

We are half-way through our penultimate round, and nothing is yet certain. Pool A, currently led by Hungary Sasata (submissions) has ended up the more competitive, with three contestants (Hungary Sasata (submissions), Colorado Sturmvogel_66 (submissions) and New Orleans TonyTheTiger (submissions)) scoring over 500 points already. Pool B is led by New South Wales Casliber (submissions), who has also scored well over 500. The top two from each pool, as well as the next four highest scorers regardless of pool, will make it through to our final eight. As ever, anything you worry may not receive the necessary attention before the end of the round (such as outstanding GA or FA nominations) is welcome at Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews, and please remember to continue offering reviews yourself where possible. As always, the judges are available to contact via email, IRC or their talk pages, and general discussion about the Cup is welcome on the WikiCup talk page.

Planning has begun for the 2011 WikiCup, with open discussions concerning scoring and flags for next year's competition. Contributions to those discussions would be appreciated, especially concerning the flags, as next year's signups cannot begin until the flag issue has been resolved. Signups will hopefully open at some point in this round, with discussion about possible changing in the scoring/process opening some time afterwards.

Earlier this round, we said goodbye to Pennsylvania Hunter Kahn (submissions), who has bowed out to spend more time on the book he is authoring with his wife. We wish him all the best. In other news, the start of this round also saw some WikiCup awards sent out by Finland Suomi Finland 2009 (submissions). We appreciate his enthusiasm, and contestants are of course welcome to award each other prizes as they see fit, but rest assured that we will be sending out "official" awards at the end of the competition. If you wish to start receiving or stop receiving this newsletter, please feel free to add or remove yourself from Wikipedia:WikiCup/Newsletter/Send. Question

Would it be stupid on my part to wish you a late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late Happy July Birthday? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 16:27, 3 August 2010 (UTC)

Okay, I totally deserved that. :) Cool, then, cause I remember thinking to myself 'Nici has a birthday in July so what day is that', I was gonna look through the archives, but I got distracted with something else, so I'm sorry. Yeah, long time no talk, but I know why cause you're busy here and not here, so it's understandable. Don't worry I'll remember next year. :) Oh the red, well I had no idea how it turned red [when you brought it up] until I checked and a good friend of mine added the red to it as he explained "maybe turning it red will get your point across." Yeah, it's been working with some people. I hope you had a good birthday turning the 19 number. :P --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 15:42, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
Ooh, Scotland, how was that? I'm glad you had an excellent birthday. Yeah, I guess it was [about the red font on my note]. I can see, but that's life right? It somehow catches up with us and makes things more difficult [on the busyness]. Oh, yeah, I saw that. It seems as though this user had no idea of what he was doing in his review of Swagger, though, I'm puzzled as to why he opened a GA reassessment, usually it's someone else who doesn't agree with the promotion. First of all, he shouldn't be ignoring you, you're the nominator and he's the reviewer he's suppose to solve this. Have you left a note at GAN? With this situation I don't think he should be reviewing other articles. Yeah, still working on 30 Rock articles, the only thing I can do. Somehow, I've lost the "touch" of working on anything else. I've been wanting to work on a couple of bios. but I just can bring myself to do it. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 16:01, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
Awesome, glad you had a great time. Did you get along with Scottish people? lol. Damn, I wish I could go somewhere overseas, you know, I've been to London, but somewhere new, you know. That's true, but this user needs to know what he started has backfired. Yeah, I saw his nominations and FAC submission, clearly does not what the hell he's doing. Yeah, I know, I tell myself 'Do this instead of that, cause you need something new', but I just tell myself that I do things my way. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 16:31, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
I didn't think my last thread deserved a response, that's what I thought at first. I don't mind the weather conditions, I mean I went to London in December '05 and it was freezing cold, so. Yeah, Paris and Italy are good places too. I'll try Spain next year. New Zealand? Cause of their food? ;) I can't deal no more with that user, he just doesn't understand things and is making things more difficult for the rest of us. Yup, you said it best. Maybe, just maybe we'll get hit in the head and get that passion that we once had for. P.S. I've signed up to Eve and Jack Swagger's articles, you know to assist you and stuff. :) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 19:56, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
I wanted to go to Spain this year, but my baseball team won this game and because of that we're in a tournament right now. The beach would be a favorite place of mine to go, but also I'd like to see some sites. You mean Sheamus mayonnaise color? lol. This would be like an awesome place, but for you this would be the ideal place to go bungee jumping... I think. IDK, I'm afraid of heights, so. Good for you, I'd do the same as well. Yeah, I saw that, didn't make sense in what he left, though. IDK, what other form to say it; how 'bout this... we get that "feeling" to go back to our "routine", cause that was the stuff we did. Yeah, I was one day and clicked on "what links here" and saw you pop up in almost every Eve thing, so I checked it out and saw that you may need some back-up. Damn? I only got "262 pages on your watchlist (excluding talk pages)", I thought that was a lot, obviously not. If you want me to help you out elsewhere let me know, though, Bryan Danielson got to complicated for me. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 20:05, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
Thanks, I appreciate that. We need to beat three teams, if we do we go to the championship game, so. :) Oh, okay [about the mayonnaise thing]. I gots to confess: I, too, burn easily, though, I have uneven tans, something you probably don't have. Yeah, I've heard stories about NZ, and seen documentaries about the place, pretty awesome place to reside, IMO. Yeah, congrats on Swagger staying as GA. :) Yeah, hopefully the people that annoy us can leave us alone. Oh, that one user, with that one image, did this to Brad Pitt's article, that pissed me off and because of that I reverted it and warned him for it. The user then added that one image, and I removed it with the summary "I don't have time for this", but he undid my edit, though, someone undid it. Don't worry, I'm here to help. I know I've done that too [remove articles from the watchlist]. Well, I had more, but I did a "cleanup" and went down to 200... something. I got wrestling related stuff (bios, tag teams, pay-per-views), actor bios, episodes, video games (just two), albums, songs, Coldplay, and this. Alrighty, then, I'll re-add Danielson back, and yeah after the Nexus first attack and then that he was released, but he wasn't cause it was part of a storyline, but he was cause he didn't have a WWE link anymore, etc., was the reason I couldn't handle it. Also, Swagger is in there as well. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 16:55, 13 August 2010 (UTC)

We almost lost yesterday, but we managed to hit a couple of hits, and bam we advanced. So, you're hella white? That's what Sheamus says about his "complexion". lol. You deserve the praise for having it stay as GA. No, I just warned him for that edit he did on Pitt's article, though, if he comes back then you bet I'll report him. Yeah, the Danielson article just got out of control and I couldn't "take it" anymore. Oh, I know [about the Nexus article]. First of all, I'm not even fond of this group, so they don't deserve my "services" (keeping an eye out for vandalism), so. Holy crap, Lance Cade died? OMG, what's going on? Don't worry, I'll follow your lead in the article, you know like with Cody that that one move isn't that move that people keep replacing with, hope you know what I mean. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 14:43, 16 August 2010 (UTC)

Thanks, I appreciate that. As long as it's calmed down, then good all is good. I had an edit conflict with you on Randy's article, I guess it's best not to add week-by-week. They did? Why they do that? That's just dumb on their parts, really. Did they have the section as in he returns back to the WWE or...? Yeah, you liked it cause their first victim was Cena. I didn't get to see SummerSlam, but I heard it was quite good. I thought for sure Triple H would be at SS, I guess not. Yeah, Barret is a good talker, has good hair, but why make him part of Nexus, you know. I was like 'Who's Justin Gabriel' [when you mentioned him], but now I see who he is. IDK, all these wrestlers passing away is kinda strange. Oh, okay, I was like 'Who do I explain that I'll still keep an eye out no matter what', but I'm glad you got it. P.S. I'm keeping an eye out for the white mayonnaise man. lol. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 15:13, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
Damn, just giving us problem with them posting stuff like that. You will never see that for some major superstar, only for the likes of Bryan Danielson. See, I knew it, I know you too well. ;) IDK, I thought Cena and Edge or Jericho would be the last two, obviously not. I heard the match between Melina and Alicia Fox was all right, the World title match was predictable, the WWE title surprised me, thought the white man would beat the tan tattooed man, oh well I guess. Like I said, Nexus isn't something I'd pay attention to. I only knew Barrett, Otunga, and Danielson. The only reason you like that guy who got RKOed last night is cause of his accent... right? It's an okay image, I mean he's holding a title, that should impress you and stuff. :) Any other article, let me know. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 15:50, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

Why remove the image on Bryan Danielson?

I saw you remove the image I placed on Bryan Danielson. What was wrong with it? Should I wait for a better Danielson image from a WWE live event to place it in there?!--Mikeymike2001 (talk) 19:05, 4 September 2010 (UTC)

Long time no talk

Hi Nici, we haven't talked much this year, I'm not sure why. But I thought to come by and ask how you were? How was school? Also volunteering my services to review Jack Swagger for GAR.--WillC 06:31, 4 August 2010 (UTC)

Hi Nici, it has been on and off my mind recently and I am just curious, how come we don't talk at all anymore? We use to talk almost everyday on here about articles, etc. We seemed like good friends. I'm just wondering if you are upset at me or something. I never meant to if I did. I hope I haven't lost you as a friend. You were the first one I made on here.--WillC 09:06, 14 August 2010 (UTC)

Hello Nici, just decided to stop by and ask how you were and if you wanted to work on any articles? We talked about working on some together in the pasted. Wondering if you wanted to work on A.J. Styles or The Brood (professional wrestling)?--WillC 05:00, 8 September 2010 (UTC)

Was wondering why you removed everything i did

Just really curious as to why you removed everything i did. I feel what i posted was encyclopedic enough for the page. Antonk8 (talk) 19:29, 10 September 2010 (UTC)

I dont know how to reply to what you put on mine. As for not putting the match in for NOC, understand :), Michelles page needs a little clearing up then cos Michelle has Layla listed as her manager and someone she manages, as for the move clothesline, isnt snapmare a generic move? and also weve all seen Layla use clotheslines dozenns and dozens of times. But why remove the Arm Drag/Hip toss reversal into a pin, thats a unique move that everyone associates with Layla. Also why remove the Women's Champion part i added to the title of the paragraph? I think its a relevant point to add. As for the PWI 2010 list...the book has been released now so the lists are in there, but eh i guess these things dont matter as they need to be internet releated Just curious Antonk8 (talk) 07:57, 11 September 2010 (UTC)

I see that you've deemed a source to be unreliable, but give no reason as to why. The site in question is the top result when searching for the term indy wrestling on Google, is indexed by Google News, and was the original news source of Mr. Bailey's passing. Just because you personally may not have heard of the site does not make it unreliable. 72.95.92.10 (talk) 17:43, 16 September 2010 (UTC)
