The Samsung i8910 formerly known as OmniaHD is an upcoming multimedia smartphone by Samsung, announced at MWC 2009 on February 18, 2009.[1], the mobile's most notable feature is its HD video recording (720p) at 24fps, an industry-first for mobile phones.
Other notable features include:
- DivX/XviD, MPEG4 support
- AMOLED display instead of LCD
- 3.7" Capacitive touchscreen instead of Resistive
- HD (720p) output to compatible televisions via DLNA technology
- S60 5th edition
The i8910 is to be made available for purchase in select markets during the second quarter of 2009.
