==Controversies involving Lloyds==

The use of a service (The Collections Dept., based in Brighton, UK), whose sole purpose appears to be harassment of the bank's own customers, has been strongly criticised by consumer groups, as have manoeuvres designed to take advantage of legal loopholes.<ref>Consumer forum http://www.consumerforums.com</ref>

Lloyds TSB is a UK banking brand, not to be confused with former parent Lloyds TSB Group plc, which is now Lloyds Banking Group. Lloyds TSB is one of the big retail banks with branches on most high streets.

The Lloyds TSB brand was created in 1995 by the merger of Lloyds Bank and the TSB Bank.[1]
