Heidi Montag

Hi, I recently noticed you have re-done my edits on both Heidi Montag's page and the page for her Superficial album. I was wondering why, since all of the information was sourced and confirmed. An expansion of the page was much needed, and the order of information before I edited the page was so messed up. I did notice the vandalism on the Superficial page when it came to charts, and I understand why that was removed (I didn't put that, just so you know). I ask that my edits be kept, as I feel it makes the page look well written and matches other artist pages. I frequently check the pages to make sure there is no vandalism, and apparently you do to. We could keep the page looking top notch, if we work together. :-)

THere are poor sources such as blogs and fansites. These aren't allowed in biographies of living persons. And there was vandalism on the Superficial (album) article. Please discuss the changes on the talk page before reverting again. Till I Go Home ^talk 01:38, 1 July 2012 (UTC)

Rollbacker

TIGH, based on my recent interaction with you, I've observed that you are missing some fundamental knowledge regarding what is and what is not an edit war and what can be an exception.

In this edit you justify edit warring over a genre of a song as a BLP issue. The subject article is If You Had My Love. Changing the genre from Pop to R&B is not a BLP issue by any stretch of the imagination and certainly not an exception to 3RR or EW.

In this edit you state that you are baffled that someone could consider "reverting unsourced material edit warring." I'm sure if you read through WP:EW you will note that there is no such exception for "reverting unsourced material"

You also seem to have a misunderstanding of WP:3RR. You made this report and after two different admins stated that there was no violation of 3RR, you rejected that and took the issue to ANI where it was declared "a remarkably silly topic" by yet a third person and shut down.

I've made numerous attempts to try to explain edit wars to you but you seem to reject these straight away, convinced that you know all there is to know about these things [1], [2].

For these reasons, I have removed your nascent rollback privileges. Rollback requires a thorough understanding of WP:EW, WP:3RR and to some extent WP:BLP all of which you are clearly having problems with.

To your credit, you have not directly engaged in protracted edit wars. You tangentially participated in at least one as part of a group though.

It should also be noted that you in no way abused the rollback privilege. Because of that, I noted in your user rights log that rollback may be restored later if you demonstrate a full understanding of the relevant policies.
