- @Evano1van Under 2013, I have fixed Ethiri En 3, Kalavadiya Pozhuthugal, Muriyadi and Veeram. The rest doesn't seem to have an article in enwiki. Btw, Yohan never took off. So, I don't think it should have an article in the tamil wiki. Hope you can take care of it and update your userpage too. Thanks. Regards. -- Sriram speak up 14:39, 24 November 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks Sriram fixing. Yes, I will report incorrect ones once I finish with interwiki links. Evano1van(எவனோ ஓருவன்) 10:13, 25 November 2013 (UTC)

Hey pal! Since there are only two films, I think a hatnote would be enough and a disambiguation page isn't required. I could add the hatnote for one of them, but don't know what to do with the disam page. So I'm gonna let you can take care of it. Thanks. -- Sriram speak up 14:02, 24 November 2013 (UTC)
- So you gonna delete the disam page? -- Sriram speak up 14:14, 24 November 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah. I may create the article in the near future. But, regarding the disam page, shall I make a request at the Teahouse? -- Sriram speak up 14:30, 24 November 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah. WP:2DABS says there isn't a need for disam pages if there are only two topics. I'm gonna make a req at teahouse. And if I create the other article (too!), I'll pay attention about the year. -- Sriram speak up 14:52, 24 November 2013 (UTC)
Mullum Malarum
Hi, you are doing a commendable job by expanding the article. This book might be helpful. Also you could take some of these articles to WP:DYK, an interesting project in wiki, which I think you might be aware of. If you need any help in this regard ping me. —Vensatry (Ping me) 16:28, 25 November 2013 (UTC)
Brother, I don't really know much about that. Did you write all that in the article? Thanks dude. I love Mahendran's films, this, Uthiripookkal (my favorite) and Johnny, and I so wanted to expand the articles but I could not find much. I think you have done a brilliant job, for me it looks great and I can't tell if it's all right or whether it needs to be edited. Good luck, hope you can improve the other articles too. Veera Dheera Sooran (talk) 18:13, 25 November 2013 (UTC)
- Hi, Balu Mahendra in his blog shares his experience working in the film. Might be helpful. —Vensatry (Ping me) 13:50, 14 December 2013 (UTC)
- @Vensatry: the best u can do is translate the most useful trivia of Mullum Malarum and paste it here. ---- Kailash29792 (talk) 15:24, 14 December 2013 (UTC)
- I'll develop that in my sandbox. Meanwhile, you can also edit. —Vensatry (Ping me) 16:31, 14 December 2013 (UTC)
- In the development section, you've included an image of the crew members. I think the reviewers might question you on adding this non-free image in addition to the poster. It could have been okay if you had included the image of Jayalakshmi and Shoba as they are no more (also there's a strong contrast between the two characters'). —Vensatry (Ping me) 07:55, 4 January 2014 (UTC)

- Btw, the Thina Thanthi review is also avl in ref 34 in the article. I suggesr you use it instead of the rajnifans link. -- Sriram speak up 18:29, 6 January 2014 (UTC)
- Sriram Vikram, I cannot find "தந்தி" in ref 34, which is this ---- Kailash29792 (talk) 03:27, 7 January 2014 (UTC)
- It can only mean that the rajnifans link could have wrongly mentioned the review to be from Thinathanthi. After translating the reviews, I was checking the article if they have been already used. That is when I stumbled upon ref 34 whose contents are exactly the same as in the rajnifans link under thinathanthi review. -- Sriram speak up 09:10, 8 January 2014 (UTC)
- You haven't used the link for Vikatan review. The Dhananjayan book doesn't have a preview in google books. So, I suggest you use this link. I'm afraid the rajnifans link could be of problem when the GA review happens. Its my opinion; you decide. -- Sriram speak up 11:49, 8 January 2014 (UTC)
- This link that you have posted in the talk page says the film was dubbed and released in Russia. -- Sriram speak up 03:13, 11 January 2014 (UTC)
- Can't we just mention that it was dubbed and released in Russia? An encyclopaedia is supposed to be encyclopaedic. Whatever info is available, put it in there. -- Sriram speak up 03:29, 11 January 2014 (UTC)

Conversations with Mani Ratnam
- Hi, do you have the physical copy of the book? —Vensatry (Ping me) 07:47, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, I have a hardcover of Conversations with Mani Ratnam at home. However, I am at work and I will back home only by around 6 or 7pm. BTW, what is the book needed for? ---- Kailash29792 (talk) 07:52, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
- That'll be handy to take Mani Ratnam to FAC in the future. Also could you fill those missing awards in this page. —Vensatry (Ping me) 07:55, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
- @User:Vensatry, I'll do the best I can after coming home. BTW, the book has a free preview on Google Books. Try that, or u can buy the book online for around ₹400 (less expensive that the physical purchase). ---- Kailash29792 (talk) 08:03, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
- It has only limited preview. Just expand the awards won by him when you get time. —Vensatry (Ping me) 08:10, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
This came in today's paper. Could you bother yourself and update the article? Thanks. -- Sriram speak up 02:31, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
- I would have did it myself had the article been titled 'Adhi'. But since it isn't, and the above reference pertains only to Adhi, I don't know how to put it. A very long time ago, I had left a comment in its talk page. Regards. -- Sriram speak up 02:44, 29 November 2013 (UTC)

Sholay main page
I had put it up right after FA and it was rejected. I then asked one of the editors who puts them up and he said he would keep it in mind, but it never happened. Seems hard to get a film article up there. I will try to ping him again, but what do you think needs to be done now, and how could it lose FA? BollyJeff | talk 01:11, 5 January 2014 (UTC)
- You and I will notice. It's on my watchlist. BollyJeff | talk 02:12, 5 January 2014 (UTC)
- Check out this: User:ColonelHenry/FA2013analysis. It seems that the wait can be very long. BollyJeff | talk 00:50, 8 January 2014 (UTC)

- It failed to place again, due to too many other films being nominated, and this one not having enough interest/support. What a bummer! Seems we will never see old Indian films on the front page. BollyJeff | talk 14:54, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
- I know what you mean. Why should I bother to make any more FAs? They did say that there are 1,320 FA that have yet to make it, so we are not alone. BollyJeff | talk 16:07, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
- It appears to be Wikipedia:Today's_featured_article/March_8,_2014. I don't know how that happened, but I am happy. BollyJeff | talk 13:17, 20 February 2014 (UTC)
- It is not allowed to have copyrighted pictures on TFA for whatever reason. That's why I changed it from the poster to this. BollyJeff | talk 13:23, 20 February 2014 (UTC)

Mullum Malarum
A few
- "Mullum Malarum also established cinema as a visual medium that can be made without melodrama, fights, duets or excessive dialogue and with realism integrated into it." - feel this statement is superlative.
- "—upon whom he dotes—were orphaned during their childhood, and have no close family." - split such statements.
- "Kumaran has developed a liking for Vall" - rephrase
- "Kali gives Kumaran and Valli" - can be sth like "Kali is moved by the affection of Valli and.."
- "he story was about the intimate feelings in the relationship of a brother and sister" - rephrase
- "because of Rajinikanth's dark complexion and because " - removed the second because
- "1978's Bairavi—his first film as a main hero—and Ilamai Oonjal Aadukirathu were exceptions though." - rephrase
- The pic in the theme section doesnt seem relevant.
- Theme needs a rewrite
- Refs - i have made some adjustments - tamilstar, blog of Balu Mahendra, desimartini, twitter - you can look at replacing them. Also, sfn is used for some books, while it is not for others - try to streamline it.Ssriram mt (talk) 14:22, 5 January 2014 (UTC)
- Latha, the actress, feels that she had good relationship with both Rajini and his wife Latha. She feels bad for not able to act in Mullum Malarum due to other committments. Ssriram mt (talk) 15:27, 5 January 2014 (UTC)

Before the MeA FAC, I asked User:Dr. Blofeld to review the colourisation section, and he did make significant changes, so I assumed that it must be correct now. I don't know what else to do. BollyJeff | talk 13:18, 19 February 2014 (UTC)
I did check and reedited/added content. Venstary or somebody else can still double check if in doubt. But a few errors if possible wouldn't constitute removing an entire section, it's vandalism, clearly.♦ Dr. Blofeld 13:23, 19 February 2014 (UTC)

If I you still feel that my edits are not correct, we can jointly verity it with the producers i.e. Sterling Investment Corp Pvt Ltd ( Shapoorji Pallonji group). Gemini
Hey man! Can you explain this? Will it be okay if mentioned under 'Box office'? -- Sriram speak up 12:30, 21 February 2014 (UTC)
- It says "Do not quote comments from members of the general public (e.g., user comments from Amazon.com, the Internet Movie Database or personal blogs), as they are self-published and have no proven expertise or credibility in the field. Polls of the public carried out by a reliable source in an accredited manner, such as CinemaScore, may be used. Do not include user ratings submitted to websites such as the Internet Movie Database or Rotten Tomatoes, as they are vulnerable to vote stacking and demographic skew." And I don't think I have violated them. Then why? -- Sriram speak up 12:48, 21 February 2014 (UTC)

- Vensatry, these sources [2] [3] and [4] state that he is involved in the film. Any reason u believe he is not? Kailash29792 (talk) 06:09, 10 March 2014 (UTC)
- Yeah, there are quite a few good number of old sources. But I cannot find his name anywhere in the teaser or trailer. —Vensatry (Ping) 06:11, 10 March 2014 (UTC)

- Sriram Vikram: Actually yes, and a bot adds that every time. Don't know what went wrong this time. Kailash29792 (talk) 14:45, 27 March 2014 (UTC)

Ra.One's history
Quite obviously, Ra.One language is most discussed topic now. Mr. Kailash, Jin Kazama one of the editors got blocked for edit war. As per you, Internet Movie DataBase is not a reliable source. So i want to discuss this matter with you on behalf. Let us take example of Jackie Chan's CZ12. As per my concern the film is in completely Cantonese but somehow it has a list of Language spoken in it. When i reverted they said this is languages used in it. More than 2 languages were added. Another example of Bollywood film is Taare Zameen Par. Let me clarify that that film is Hindi only film. So how come English added there? Another thing Ra.One's languages are Hindi no doubt. But has English use too. As per Jin's edits i don't want to speak on it. And that source is only one of Imdb. One thing again i clarify, there are dubbed versions of Ra.One in Cantonese, Tamil & Telugu but this languages are not counted respectively. Only used languages are counted. And i got to know from Ra.One's talk page you said English is used but in first half. It is used. Waiting for your reply Mr.Kailash. mall (talk) 06:59, 29 March 2014 (UTC)
Ra.One's history (continued)
Yeah Kailash i know. I didn't added Cantonese , Tamil or Telugu because it does not count on original release. I just added English respectively. But Mr.Kailash tell me one thing This film released in several, in several English speaking states. Even The infobox stated that before release in India, it released in UAE & Canada. And most probably title is in English whereas brother Ra.One is dubbed only in Cantonese, Tamil and Telugu. It also debuted in Japan too in late 2012 also in Japanese dub. So you cannot say It was dubbed in English. Original posters are marketed in English Language but the main plot is in Hindi. In fact, Khan played a Tamil Speaking guy in it. Though he spoke just 1 or 2 lines of Tamil. So i have a doubt too. Why the edit gets reverts of Taare Zameen Par of English. Because few days back i removed English from it but they reverted it back? Was it a bilingual fiction? mall (talk) 10:06, 29 March 2014 (UTC)
- As of now i added Consensus on talk page. Why you still revert it? Brother, you still reverting and will lead to 3 Revert Rule. Check the talk page respectively
mall (talk) 12:58, 29 March 2014 (UTC)
- So you will try to unilaterally declare consensus? I do not think that word means what you think it means. You do not have consensus. You do not have policy supporting your view. And most particularly, you do not have reliable sources supporting your view. Just ask the other editor did, you ignore every point made by others and repeat yourself over and over, ignoring WP:BRD. Discussion means not making the change that has been reverted until the discussion on the talk page uses reliable sources and Wikipedia policies and guidelines. And all of this should be on the talk page. Ravensfire (talk) 17:48, 29 March 2014 (UTC)
- Also, I've reverted your unilateral consensus declaration. Let's move this to the article talk page folks. Ravensfire (talk) 17:50, 29 March 2014 (UTC)
KNI
Hey! I always wanted to ask this. Is there a rule preventing the use of slang terms? And one more thing. I remember that when you requested a c/e for Santhosh Subramaniam at GOCE, you had mentioned that the plot should be less than 700 words. While there is a necessity to keep the plot short and brief, there seem to be no such word constraint mentioned here. Could you explain, is it an unwritten rule or just a rule of thumb? -- Sriram speak up 09:57, 30 March 2014 (UTC)
- Oh...okay. So, it there someway to count the no. of words without doing it manually? And can you tell if the plot summaries are within the specified range in Gemini and KNI? -- Sriram speak up 11:25, 30 March 2014 (UTC)
- Btw, I have a serious suggestion for you. Can you pls keep the conversations in the same place by replying where it began? Take it as an advice from myself and Vensatry -- Sriram speak up 11:27, 30 March 2014 (UTC)
- Well, I do accept that 'wannabe' is slang. But, I find no nobility in wanting to be a don or a gangster to consider them as an aspiration and that is the reason why I preferred using 'wannabe'. -- Sriram speak up 11:31, 30 March 2014 (UTC)
- Sriram Vikram, You can paste the entire plot of any film in MS word, and it will show the total no of words below. As for ur talk page, any ideas of reducing the clutter? Kailash29792 (talk) 11:35, 30 March 2014 (UTC)
- Yup. Will be doing it soon. Am busy with something else right now, my next suprise if I can say so! -- Sriram speak up 11:39, 30 March 2014 (UTC)

The talk page of Hyderabad, a FA, says that the article is written in Indian English. So, why should KNI need British English when Indian English suits better here? -- Sriram speak up 12:06, 30 March 2014 (UTC)
- Because British and Indian English are not very different from each other, and the GOCE member will know to edit the article in BrE. Kailash29792 (talk) 12:37, 30 March 2014 (UTC)
- Kailash, even your page looks cluttered. Try archiving older posts :) —Vensatry (Ping) 10:29, 2 April 2014 (UTC)
I'm not satisfied with the article yet. And, I find myself unable to wait for the c/e to happen. For one, I find the plot section to be vague and that someone who hasn't seen the film won't be able to understand it clearly. Then, the 2nd para under 'Filming'. I strongly feel it needs to be rewritten professionally. Would be glad if someone could do that. I don't think the people at GOCE will do that. -- Sriram speak up 12:29, 3 April 2014 (UTC)
- And regarding your last edit, I would like to remind you again... Wikipedia:Mos#Linking. Thanks -- Sriram speak up 12:32, 3 April 2014 (UTC)
- Sriram Vikram: Well, the plot is less than 700 words and that has not violated WP:FILMPLOT. Did you read the plot given in Dhananjayan's book? If the GOCE member reads the plot from there, then maybe he can edit understandingly and without changing key details. Meanwhile, I'll see what I can do in filming. Kailash29792 (talk) 12:42, 3 April 2014 (UTC)
- The article had exactly the same plot as in the book before I edited it. -- Sriram speak up 12:57, 3 April 2014 (UTC)

Hi, can you copy-edit the "Film career" when you find time. Feels a little uncomfortable since it's been a while since I edited biographies. —Vensatry (Ping) 09:19, 3 April 2014 (UTC)
- Vensatry, yes at the moment I'll c/e it. I remember u once asked me for info on Andha Naal. I have a few articles that would be useful. By the end of this week, I promise to share them with you. Kailash29792 (talk) 09:32, 3 April 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks :) Andha Naal is a very important film in the history of Tamil cinema. —Vensatry (Ping) 09:35, 3 April 2014 (UTC)

Hello, thanks to thank my edits. Recently i saw, there was Wiki War for languages. I reverted the languages for Taare Zameen Par, 3 Idiots, Bombay Boys in Hindi. Also, Bombay Boys was a Hinglish film, i kept it Hindi. And one thing, The category and page English-language Indian films must be put for deletion in respect to Hindi language films. Thanks R★S★S (Your Precious Reply) 14:32, 7 April 2014 (UTC)
