Well, as stupid as this may sound to you here I go: HARVEST OF WHAT? Germany
The introductory statement that "Similarly named festival holidays occur in Germany[...]" and the information given in section 3.1 are misleading.
While "Erntedankfest" exists as a term and tradition in Germany, it is completely different from Thanksgiving. There is no nationally or regionally fixed date for Erntedankfest, schools don't close and everybody is working, most families don't celebrate it in any way, and outside of churches and smaller or rural communities with parades most people wouldn't even realize that it's Erntedankfest, particularly in the cities.
And Oktoberfest has no relation whatsoever with Erntedank, it's temporal proximinty is entirely coincidental (and it's mostly in September anyway).
harvest of what

In India
Makar Sankranti is the Harvest Thanksgiving Festival. A Hindu festival in reverence to deity Surya (sun) that is observed in January every year. Mainly Celebrated in Southern part of India named as Makara Sankranthi in Karnataka , Kanuma in Telengana, Sankrathi in Andra and Pongal in TamilNadu.
Prince of Wales
In the section on Canadian Thanksgiving, the words "Prince of Wales" should link to the article on King Edward VII, not (as is presently the case) to the article on King George V. If somebody knows how to fix that, please do?
Done. Thank you for noticing. George V was 7-years-old in 1872, and he would not become the Prince of Wales until 1901. Dimadick (talk) 12:34, 4 April 2021 (UTC)
In the United States
It appears that the link [7] to the webpage by the Virginia Historical Society is no longer up. They seem to have a webpage by the same name nowadays, but I'm not sure if it's the same as the original one.
Part of the article is a pile of nonsense
I think it is generally a wrong idea to mix the US Thanksgiving day and the holidays in other countries as they come from very different traditions and legacy. It makes an impression of a International Thanksgiving day, while it is not so. I spoke to a lot of natives and they have no idea how the US Thanksgiving is similar to their holidays. Actually, some information is based on primary sources (such as Brazilin section) or overstretched sources. Bottom line: another work of someone's rich imagination, most probably from the happy US Wikipedians=))
