Trinity Place is a quarter-mile northbound thoroughfare (running parallel to Broadway at Trinity Place's east) in Lower Manhattan in New York City. It passes the backside of Trinity Church, a historic gothic-style cathedral at Broadway and Wall Street. Trinity Place begins at the Edgar Street exit of the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel, and officially terminates at Liberty Street, though its route continues - uninterrupted - as Church Street, ending at Canal Street by forming a "T". The Trinity/Church/Liberty intersection forms the southeast corner of the World Trade Center site. |
