Interwiki link to the section

Is it appropriate to add an interwiki link to not the entire article, but to the section of this article? I. e. in en-wiki Rubeus Hagrid is an article; in ru-wiki Rubeus Hagrid is a redirect to the section of the common list. GOCE March drive newsletter

Guild of Copy Editors March 2012 backlog elimination drive update

Greetings from the Guild of Copy Editors March 2012 Backlog elimination drive! Here's the mid-drive newsletter.

Participation: We have had 58 people sign up for this drive so far, which compares favorably with our last drive, and 27 have copy-edited at least one article. If you have signed up but have not yet copy-edited any articles, please consider doing so. Every bit helps! If you haven't signed up yet, it's not too late. Join us!

Progress report: Our target of completing the 2010 articles has almost been reached, with only 56 remaining of the 194 we had at the start of the drive. The last ones are always the most difficult, so thank you if you are able to help copy-edit any of the remaining articles. We have reduced the total backlog by 163 articles so far.

Special thanks: Special thanks to Stfg, who has been going through the backlog and doing some preliminary vetting of the articles—removing copyright violations, doing initial clean-up, and nominating some for deletion. This work has helped make the drive a more pleasant experience for all our volunteers.

Wikipedia:Twinkle and Teahouse

Hello again!

I trust you are well. Since our last communication I have on several occasions attempted to follow your advice and activate Twinkle, but to no avail. It has now dawned on me that it won't work because I have Internet Explorer 8. I suppose that apart from buying a new computer – which I can't afford (mine's aged 12 years, but I have upgraded to XP02) – there is nothing I can do about it.

You are a star. I have successfully down-loaded Mozilla Firefox, and not only do I have Twinkle, I have a PC that I don't recognise. It is so fast. I'd like to ask your help in creating a biography article on reporter Bob Wyrick. I've got some COI in the subject so I don't want to touch it, but I'm sure the fellow's notable. I did a little looking and wrote some very rough notes but haven't dug very far. I'd appreciate it if you could take a look to see if you think there's a stub or an article in it.
