The following is a list of regions of Somaliland, a self-declared republic that is internationally recognized as an autonomous region of Somalia. Control of the Sool, Sanaag and Cayn regions is disputed with the neighboring Puntland autonomous region.[1]

Somaliland president Ahmed Mohamed Mohamoud Anounced the creation of the the 14th Somaliland region with 4 new districts. The new Haysimo region is annexed from eastern Sool and Sanaag regions and it contains Taleh, Sarmanyo,Godaalo,Hallinand Aroley districts.The presidential decree stated that Taleh is the regional capital of Haysimo Region.
