Ambika Mohan is an Indian film actress best known for her work in Malayalam cinema. She has acted almost 300 films.

Personal life

Ambika Mohan was born at Panamanna, Ottapalam, Kerala. She is bought up at Pallivasal, Munnar, since her father was working at Electricity broad, Pallivasal power house. Ambika is married to Mohan who works as an engineer in K.S.E.B. The couple have two daughters.[1] Her younger daughter Rhomy Sreekumar won Amrita TV's Vanitha Rathnam title in 2008. Rhomy is an anchor also. Rhomy's husband Sreekumar is the younger brother of Madhu Balakrishnan.[2]

She has acted in some advertisements for BIG BAZAR,CHUNGATH JEWELLERY,AMALA HOSPITAL,AL-HASEENA JEWELLERS,KERALA HANDLOOMS,JAYALAKSHMI SILKS,SHIFA JEDDAH POLYCLINIC,X PRESS MONEY-GLOBAL MONEY TRANSFER,MADHYASTHAM MATRIMONY.COM etc. She has attended populars talk show SREEKANDAN NAIR SHOW on Surya TV and NAMMAL THAMMIL on Asianet. She has attended many stage programmes,public functions etc. She won many awards for her performances in different films especially for her performance in Kasthooriman. She has presented a cookery show named ONARUCHI on Jeevan TV.She coordinates and performs many stage shows also.She is running a shop of dress materials too.Earlier she had run a tailoring cum embroidery school.But after becoming active in the film industry she stopped that firm because of the shortage of time.
