Pakistanis in India include Pakistani Hindus, Muslims and Sikhs seeking Indian citizenship,[1] as well as Pakistani citizens working, studying and living in India and other people of Pakistani descent in India. There are also an estimated 761 Pakistanis who are held in Indian jails. The majority of them have already completed their sentence.[2]
