Song

"It Won't Stop" is a song by American singer Sevyn Streeter, featuring vocals from American singer Chris Brown. was released on May 22, 2013 as the first single from her debut extended play (EP) Call Me Crazy, But..., by Atlantic Records. The song was produced by Diplo, Free School and Picard Brothers.

Background

The song was premiered on May 22, 2013.[1] On June 24, 2013, Streeter released an acoustic performance video for the single.[2]

Composition

"It Won't Stop" is a hetero-normative pop song about how much a woman loves her man. 'til infinity. They make sexual times in his Jeep'.[3]

Remix

Streeter released the remix to the song on August 28, 2013. It features Chris Brown.

Lyrics and composition

In the first verse, She compliments his attire, he's looking cool and fresh as ish. In the second verse, Streeter's love interest is feeling romantic and is lost in the moment with her. In the third verse, Streeter refers to Aaliyah's Rock the Boat song, commenting that the scene she's set in the verse sounds familiar to the music video scene in Aaliyah's song.[4]

On October 10, 2013, Streeter uploaded the music video for the remix on her YouTube account.[7]

Background

The video for the remix also premiered on BET's 106 & Park and was directed by Brown who also appears in the video along with NBA player Dorell Wright, playing Sevyn's love interest.[8]
