Apology
As I look out over the things having been done, I have very many sorrows in my iron heart. I have Latin teacher dying of lechtrechonodes and she is in the belief that nobody cares anymore about Sallust and I am trying to show her other wise. I see that I have erred! I will be a good person from ever more and shall not trouble anybody.
However I have friends with same concerns but different sufferings who may have learned differently. I hope they will be good, but two things are not the same: learning by hearsay and by experience. 128.197.244.207 (talk) 13:06, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

hello, I am Godfrey Walawage and I am new to wiki and I am expanding my contribution little by little on wiki cos it helps many people around the world. Even I make use of it in most of the time. You have recently made changers to the page i am interested to write, page St Peter's College, Colombo its still under construction but I am unable to expand some of the topics to another relevant page
Eg:- I want to have the "Battles of the Saints" and "Honours Recipients" to another page named "Battles of the Saints" and to "List of St.Peter's College alumni (Old Peterites)" I checked on the wiki and there is no such exsisting.
I am referring these pages are similar like this
1) Is a event (cricket) that is very popular in Sri lanka and it is known as "Battles of the Saints" As a reference (a similar event) Royal–Thomian http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal-Thomian
and I am sure this page will be shared with St. Joseph's College, Colombo http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St_Joseph%27s_College,_Colombo
2) this is something similar to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Royal_College_alumni_(Old_Royalists) List of Royal College alumni and I want it on to another page cos the list is very big and I prefer having that separate to the article of the school.
Please help me by creating me those two pages.

I recently realized that there are about five people using User:Plastikspork/monobook.js/script.js, or at least five people who have added it to monobook.js. So, I would like to try to get some feedback to help make it more useful for your needs.
1 Have you noticed it performing any unsafe transformations?
2 Are there too many spork buttons?
3 Which spork buttons to you use?
4 Are there any spork buttons which you never use?
5 Are there any transformations which you wish to have in a script like this one, but are currently missing?
6 Are there any spork buttons which should be split or merged?
7 Any other comments or suggestions?
Thanks for your feedback! Plastikspork (talk) 19:12, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

Blanked Pages
Hello The Thing That Should Not Be, just a quick message to say that when a page is blanked, please always check the page history to ensure that it is not the creator blanking the page, if it is then the page can simply have {{db-blanked}} placed on it. A edit you made to Gemma Hayes Tour Dates reverted a blanking of a page by the page creator, thus please remove your {{uw-blanking#}} warning from User talk:Nua eire. Also I know this is difficult when using huggle or twinkle, as I use huggle myself, but it is a serious issue, as it means users are left with warnings they don't deserve, anyway, good work in the recent changes and thanks! SpitfireTally-ho! 12:48, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

WE177
On what grounds did you revert my recent edit? Blatant removal of edits is vandalism. For over 10 years I was the MOD Stores Officer for the WE177 weapon system. What I stated was factual (and in any case not even vaguely controversial). Most of the rest of the article does consist of rubbish (but the OSA prevents me from editing in corrections). Hell, they can't ebven get the name of the weapon right. 86.141.192.195 (talk) 11:51, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

Cheerleaders (2008 film)
Your recent reversion edit was uncalled-for, unresearched, and impulsive litigious absurdity. I corrected a link that pointed to the wrong person, which claimed that a fictional character from the Rocky series of movies starred in a pornographic film, rather than, oh, a porn actor did. New message
Hi, I don't know how else to reply to people undoing edits (I'm a noob), but i clicked 'talk' and it sent me here so here I am! When I visited wikipedia today a box alerted me to new messages, upon clicking of which I was informed that my edits to the collingwood football club page (logged to my IP address, 124.181.105.25) were classed as vandalism and had been removed. The only problem is that I haven't edited any pages on wikipedia, let alone that one, and neither has anyone else who uses this computer or the internet connection in this house. I don't know how this happened, or how i stop it from happening again, but i don't want to be prevented from editing wikipedia in the future because of this, or for people to think I am a moron who vandalises pages and can't even spell correctly when I do. As you were the person who reverted both of these edits (thankyou for doing that by the way), I thought you might know what is going on here? I'm guessing I have the same problem as the person at the top of this page, although they are much more succinct... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.181.105.25 (talk) 08:25, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
- Hello there. Based on the time that the edits were made, February 16th, it seems that your IP address might be a dynamic IP address, and that somebody else had used it before it was assigned to your connection. Also, our blocking policy makes it so that IP addresses cannot be permanently blocked, due to the fact that alot of internet providers use dynamic IP's. This prevents new users that may have just gotten an IP, that a vandal had previously used, from being inadvertantely blocked from editing. Since you only have 2 warnings on your talk, and since it has been so long, you are fine. If you would like to continue here, your just fine with editing without logging in, or you are just as welcome to create an account here, so as to avoid possible irrelevant warnings and messages. Vandalism/harassment
An anonymous editor has repeatedly engaged in edit warring, and even after having the content of the article edited to satisfy his own perspective, he is still continuing to attack and harass other editors and vandalize talk pages by removing content, claiming that he is removing personal attacks when the statements made are clearly true. He does not understand Wikipedia's policies, removes every warning made against his actions, and refuses to accept the fact that his behavior is inappropriate. Clear examples of this editor's vandalism can be found here and here. This editor does not understand why his behavior is inappropriate, and refuses to listen to reason, and insists that any opposition against his will is harassment or vandalism. He also engages in trolling on talk pages, removing accurate descriptions of his vandalism and telling opposing editors that they "make zero sense". (Ibaranoff24 (talk) 19:29, 5 June 2009 (UTC))

Huggle on a Mac
Hey Until it Sleeps, I noticed on the non-Windows OS page of the Huggle page that you can get it to work on Mac OS. I use OS X and I keep getting "Huggle 0.9.1 has exited with an error, have a jolly look at the log window". I've done everything that I can think to do, and I get to the point where X11 will open up IE, but it can't find Huggle on my desktop. Any help you can give me would be most appreciated. Thanks again and happy editing! -T'Shael, Lord of the Vulcans 21:08, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
- Ah, bollocks. Thanks anyway, though. Maybe one day someone will make a version of Huggle for Mac instead of having us try and port it with Wine. Happy editing, -T'Shael, Lord of the Vulcans 21:26, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
- Fantastic! Thanks for the link. :) -T'Shael, Lord of the Vulcans 21:34, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

Message for "Until it sleeps".
I don't see any other way to contact you and you have yet to respond on the grief porn talk page. Why have you deleted my edits on the talk page? Drive by vandalism followed by unilaterally not allowing any contact and then ignoring repeated attempts to discuss this on the talk page is wrong.
- Please support your multiple edits removing discussion from a talk page on the grief porn talk page or allow a method to contact you elsewhere.
- thank you. 99.144.246.51 (talk) 19:18, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

Denise Richards
I am not vandalizing the article, I am quoting the Stern interview with her. You may find it offensive, but it is the Howard Stern Show, not Good Morning America. Before you edit anything more, please go read the full interview. You will find that, if anything, I am making it less offensive than it actually was. Under these particular circumstances, if anyone is vandalizing the article, those who wish to sanitize it are. I am simply reporting more accurately what was said. It also has considerable notability because the interview was heard by an estimated 30 million people and made several major news outlets that night because of what she said and how she said it. I am not in the habit of vandalizing other's work, and I don't go editing and reverting articles without a damn good reason. I think you should show the same respect for the writing and reporting of others. Thanks. 72.177.24.26 (talk) 04:54, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
Why did you change what this person wrote? If this is a matter of being offensive, they are quoting pretty accurately what was said by Ms. Richards. I am reverting the article back to the previous post. I think that 72.177.24.26 has a good point. Before we go off willy nilly changing things simply because it was contributed by someone without an account, we are teetering on the dangerous edge of censorship. We don't need to go there. I don't see that it is vandalism at all - the interview was controversial and very graphic, and what 72.177.24.26 put in there is accurate as to what was said in this interview. It is also documented properly. It is clearly not vandalism. Themoodyblue (talk) 05:00, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
Reverted edits
You sent me a message? You're in my page history but I never saw your comment? That edit was reverted back to its original state, a mistake on my part, the editor had added a bunch of unecessary full stops which I removed. I reverted his/her edits but removed the full stops. I have since apologised to the editor for my mistake.
I tried to clean up Stefan Lysenko, for which you had seconded a prod. Perhaps we should take it to AfD. Bearian (talk) 21:45, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

I deleted most of the article not to be nonconstructive, but because none of the citations contained any of the information that was written in the article or directly contradicted it. Simply put, there is no way to get the article into shape without almost wholesale blanking and rewriting. I don't appreciate the stock message on my talk page either which asserts, with no apparent sense of irony, that I am new to editing. A look over my contribution history will show the exact opposite. My God... =
Can you please not accuse me of "vandalism" whenever I remove a redirect? I'm NOT BLANKING A PAGE. Removing all of the content of an article that isn't even an article is NOT blanking a page. I removed two dumb redirects and I've gotten warned both times. I don't know if cluebot is yours or not, but it's flawed. I want to ask you something: Do you agree that "Colonization of the Earth's core" Should redirect to "Earth"? That's a ridiculous redirect! Because I couldn't get rid of it (dumb cluebot) I had to redirect it to the "Earth's Core" which still is a terrible redirect. No page has ANY information about colonizing the earth's core. It shouldn't even exist. Next problem I have: I removed the redirect from exihilation to annihilation. What do you know? Clubot tells me I'm a vandal and being nonconstructive because I made it so a word, that should have an article all it's own, didn't redirect to a page that was written on the EXACT OPPOSITE of the word you were searching for, and only having one mention in it. That's like searching "Axis" and you find yourself on a page called "Allies" and the first sentence says "Allies were the enemies of the Axis." And then trying to remove that redirect so a real article can grow and then getting warned for it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.73.27.17 (talk) 17:47, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

Hiya, I noticed on a recent revert you did to the above article that it ended up being reverted to a page that said Mike Tyson and Barack Obama had died today! I'm sure you didn't intend that, but unfortunately this is a page that gets a lot of vandalism. Quantpole (talk) 17:55, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
- I am not sure how this happened; I thought I was reverting the same thing previously. Nevertheless, User:Kingcouey caught this and made it right, so I left a thanks to him at User talk:Kingcouey. Newportm (talk) 17:59, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

DID YOU READ the inline text and not look at the article??? Incompetent. SO DON'T DO HALF-ASSED policing... the tag was way off base. The length of that summary is about just right. Undo your revert. // 24.62.190.234 (talk) 13:04, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
