Lynn Township is one of twenty-four townships in Henry County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2010 census, its population was 745 and it contained 311 housing units.[2] Lynn changed its name originally from Linn Grove Township to Lynnville Township on April 13, 1857, and then again from Lynnville to Lynn on an unknown date.
Geography
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 36.36 square miles (94.2 km2), of which 36.32 square miles (94.1 km2) (or 99.89%) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km2) (or 0.11%) is water.[2]
