Article name

Why is this article at "Rod Marsh" rather than "Rodney Marsh"? I never heard him called anything except "Rodney Marsh", and he is certainly better known than the footballer of the same name. Deb (talk) 08:44, 4 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I think it's subjective to say that he is "certainly better known" than the footballer - that would not be the case in the UK. Plus Rodney Marsh the footballer has never been known as Rod, only Rodney. It would make little sense to have them both at the same title and have to disambiguate.-- Pawnkingthree (talk) 14:00, 4 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
