Xing Kong is a Mandarin language TV channel owned by STAR TV, also known as STAR Chinese Channel China, It was voted "Satellite Channel of the Year" at the 2002 China Television Programme Awards. The channel is packed with more than 700 hours of original programming each year, with content that includes drama series, comedies, variety, talk and game shows. This channel was similar to other mandarin entertainment channels like STAR Chinese Channel in Taiwan and Phoenix Chinese Channel a 50/50 joint venture with STAR TV and Phoenix Television.

Xing Kong is currently available in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Indonesia and Vietnam. Soon available over Chinese communities in Malaysia and the Philippines. Xing Kong is available as free-to-view on AsiaSat 3S over the Asia-Pacific region (given that the local laws permit the use of privately-owned Satellite dishes).

  • Xing Kong is exclusively available on now TV, started late 2004, channel 540.

Singapore

  • Xing Kong is available on StarHub TV, part of Digital-Only Add-On Chinese Plus II package on Channel 105.

Indonesia

  • Xing Kong is available on First Media (formerly Kabelvision) and Telkomvision.

Malaysia

  • Xing Kong is available on local cable operator.

Philippines

  • Xing Kong is available on selected provincial cable companies.

Vietnam

  • Xing Kong is available on VietBao CATV was launched last October 29, 2007 Channel 85.

Asia-Pacific Region

  • Xing Kong is broadcast free-to-air on AsiaSat 3S over the Asia-Pacific region (given that the local laws permit the use of privately-owned Satellite dishes). This coverage spans from Outer Mongolia all the way to Australia and New Zealand. Although the geostationary satellite is located directly above China, private satellite tuning is prohibited in the mainland.
