Hi,
I created the Paperless Warehousing page with the help of a consultant and have received your message. Could you please tell me where I go to find the page and edit so it meets the conflict of interest guidelines and neutral view point.

Hi Athaenara,
I have contacted one of the Admins (HJ Mitchell) but I seem to be going around in cycles. Could you please advise me where I can get a copy of the article so I can have it modified in accordance with the relevant policies.

- In the context of Wikipedia, which is an online encyclopedia, not a free listing or advertising service (see Wikipedia is not a soapbox or means of promotion), you are a spammer: a single-purpose account with a conflict of interest, known in Wikipedia shorthand as a coi spa. If your company is sufficiently notable as confirmed by independent reliable sources, editors who don't have your promotional intent may write an article about it. – Athaenara ✉ 01:45, 8 February 2011 (UTC)

Deletion of files per F8
→ in re: Building mode0, 01, 1, 02, 2, 03, 3, 04, 4, 05, 5.
Hi! I'm working on Commons:Category:License migration candidates and one of the files is File:Building mode0.png (there is a serie of those files). It has not been transfered to Commons via bot so the description page is not "the usual one". I checked the original on enwiki and it is GFDL with disclaimers but the file on commons is without disclaimers. Once the file is deleted on enwiki it is hard for users to check if file has been transfered correct. Therefor it is importaint that deleting admin checks that information has been transfered correct. I'm sure you know that and you just missed this one. Just wanted to let you know :-) --MGA73 (talk) 20:07, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
- The uploader's original November 2006 {{GFDL-self}} license (which has included a warning since May 2008 not to add with disclaimers) was changed by a bot to {{GFDL-self-with-disclaimers}} in May 2007. The
{{GFDL-user-w}}
license is consistent with the uploader's original license. – Athaenara ✉ 01:28, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
- The original license did have disclaimers in November 2006 per this version when the file was uploaded. In an attempt to get rid of disclaimers a new template with disclaimers was created ({{GFDL-self-with-disclaimers}}) and all files that had disclaimers at that time was changed (by a bot) so they used this new license (with disclaimers). After the big change was done the disclaimers was removed from the old license that should be used for new uploads. So the file had disclaimers when it was uploaded. --MGA73 (talk) 16:03, 11 February 2011 (UTC)
- I see, the general disclaimer is the heavy here.
If there is a specific course of action you'd like to recommend, please feel free to do so.– Athaenara ✉ 05:53, 14 February 2011 (UTC) - I updated the license to
{{GFDL-user-en-with-disclaimers}}
for all eleven files. – Athaenara ✉ 06:00, 16 February 2011 (UTC)

Hi Athaenara - I am representing VRL Financial News. We publish 12 different magazines in financial sector. Our intern Lauren had created pages in Wikipedia for all these magazines, giving general information about the magazines, but many of them were deleted. The deletion log says that the contents were ambiguous and promotional. I would like to make changes to them so that they adhere to the guidelines set by Wikipedia. Could you please help me understand the modification required in these pages. Look forward to hearing from you. Webvrl (talk) 10:16, 10 February 2011 (UTC)Thank you - Gayatri Gadre

Hi there,
I represent BOOM (Born On Original Motives). I created a Wiki page yesterday and it has already been deleted. I am not trying to promote my brand, just trying to explain who we are. Is it possible to keep this wiki entry open while I add to it? Any tips to keep it live and not have it appear as a promotion? Any help is greatly appreciated as I am not Wiki savvy. Thanks!!

I requested the speedy deletion for "Intergen". Thank you for responding so promptly! Upon digging further, this company does appear to be notable and they should be given a chance to re-write their article.
Will you please reinstate the page? I will then change the AFD template to {{advert}} to give them some time.
More on the Talk page.
QUESTION: Is is possible to make the display of text (or a template) happen only before or after a specific date? What I'm thinking is that in two weeks I would like {{advert}} to go away and {{db-spam}} to appear automatically if no one edits the page.
Thanks!
Michaeloqu (talk) 03:24, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
- Done, but it's the sort of spam which we're under no obligation to enable on Wikipedia. Your idea of an {{advert}} tag which would automatically convert to {{db-spam}} after two weeks of no improvement is a good one which I don't know how to implement. – Athaenara ✉ 17:58, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
