The Samsung Focus S is a slate smartphone which runs Microsoft's Windows Phone 7.5 "Mango" operating system. It is the successor to the best-selling Windows Phone[citation needed], the Samsung Focus, and was released on November 6th, 2011 in the United States. Currently, the Focus S is available exclusively through AT&T.[1]
Reception
The Samsung S has received generally positive reviews. WPCentral said "It's really hard to find anything to complain about with the Samsung Focus S. It's not perfect but it is a really good Windows Phone."[2] Engadget was slightly more critical, noting that "... we don't have any major complaints about the Samsung Focus S, but there wasn't much that wowed us either."[3]. The most notable complaint is that its steep price does not justify the quality or featureset of the device.
