AOA (an acronym for Ace of Angels (Hangul: 에이오에이) is a South Korean girl group produced by FNC Music.

History

2012: Debut

The eight members were introduced individually through eight different teaser photos released from July 16, 2012 to July 23, 2012.[1][2] The members were introduced in this order Seolhyun, Choa, Hyejeong, Chanmi, Yuna, Mina, JiMin & Youkyung (Y).

AOA is a dance group but in the same time a band too who sings at instruments, the full seven angels are in the dance group and the half angel is part of the band group together with other 4 angels.

According to FNC, the seven full angel members, Seolhyun, Choa, Hyejeong, Chanmi, Yuna, Mina, and leader Jimi, looked on the human world through their crystal ball, and fell in love with humans’ music. Youkyung, the half angel, also referred to as the key keeper, became curious about the human world and used the key to visit it with the other angels.[3]

The first Music Video teaser for "Angel's Story" was released on July 24, 2012 [4] and the second teaser was released on July 26, 2012.[5] "Angel's Story" was leaked on July 28, 2012 with 2 days before the official release.[6].Music Video for AOA "Elvis" has been released July 30, 2012
