Note
  1. ^ Certain award groups do not simply award one winner. They recognize several different recipients, have runners-up, and have third place. Since this is a specific recognition and is different from losing an award, runner-up mentions are considered wins in this award tally. For simplification and to avoid errors, each award in this list has been presumed to have had a prior nomination.

Shahrukh Khan (born 2 November 1965), informally referred to as SRK, is an Indian film actor. Known as "The King of Bollywood" & "The King of Romance", Khan has acted in over 75 Hindi films. He began his career appearing in several television serials in the late 1980s and made his film debut in Deewana (1992) which won him the Filmfare Best Debut Award. The following year, he appeared in the critically acclaimed crime thriller Baazigar, for which he earned his first Filmfare Best Actor Award. Khan has subsequently won twelve Filmfare Awards, and holds the record for receiving the most Filmfare Best Actor Awards along with Dilip Kumar, eight wins.
