Please provide an actual link to a source for the statement, "In the MTA's 20 Year Capital Assesment it mentioned the possibility that the R211 will feature open gangways, which will allow passengers to seamlessly walk throughout the train." on the R211 (New York City Subway car) article. Hillside vs. Woodhull Park/Rockaway Junction stations

Evidently, Rockaway Junction (LIRR station) was two blocks east of Hillside (LIRR station), if you look at some of the evidence. Hi. While I appreciate your edits to create these templates, I don't really think it is necessary. All the stations are linked from IRT Jerome Avenue Line, so we really don't need navboxes for every single station. It creates more workload for the Wikipedia servers. Maybe we can create a template for all New York City Subway stations, and have an option to display only one or two lines instead, like this: {{NYCS stations|Jerome=yes}} to display Jerome Avenue stations, etc.

Please also don't remove the category. The category is for internal purposes, and groups the stations by NYCS division, opening date, location, etc.

Regarding Your Comment

I agree with the 57 Street (Q) reroute editing, and realize that was a mistake. But there was no need to delete my Broad Street information and the SAS 116 and 106 and 125 Street information. The original IRT Second Ave line had demolished stations that are on wiki, so why can't 125, 116 and 106 be there as well? Broad Street also needed information from the old (M) and (R), so why remove that as we'll? And this is the exact reason why nobody can learn anything on the subway, of you want me to do that of every single station, then fine, I'll do it, but please don't delete it if you only see it on one page, I will continue on doing the rest. And about the SAS, did you not see that I clearly expressed the word "under planning"? Thanks for notifying me, but the subway service pages are for the service's routing, not for what cars operated on the service. That is one incident with no evidence. It is badly written, and there are many minor incidents that happen in subway stations every day, and those don't belong on wikipedia pages unless they are major incidents, and this is clearly not major as it isn't mentioned anywhere, I am sorry if I didn't explain it. I removed them because the website leads to a Google Login page. The link is considered to be dead, because when I sign in to Google, it says, This blog is open to invited readers only

I was invited, but I have two separate email accounts, one in which I was invited and one in which I wasn't. For some reason I still get in when I am using the one I wasn't invited from, which made me lead to believe that the author of the website opened it up to more than just people invited. @Epicgenius: I hated how I got blocked for editing warring, harrasssment, and personal attacks, and also how I got called out for socking, but yet, that IP address that keeps on edit warring with me on the A train article never got blocked for editing warring and socking. The revert on the 4 train article

Union Tpke aka Kew Gardens 613, I reverted you because of the reasons that I've already explain to Philroc. How does it make sense to have a map template for any of the New York City Subway articles when we already have a full list of stations as they are? The map templates belong to the New York City Subway line articles, not the New York City Subway service articles. The 4 is a service, not a line. We don't need to go into any detail about the changes on the lines themselves, because they don't have an impact on any of the services that run on the aforementioned lines. @Kew Gardens 613: According to this, For WikiProjects without a formal A-Class review process, the proposal to promote to A-Class should be made on the article's talk page. To be granted, the proposal should be supported by two uninvolved editors, with no significant opposes. The review should also be noted on the project's discussion page. Staten Island Railway

Hi Kew Gardens, have you given thought to my suggestions at the reassessment page? I'm looking for more concision in the prose, with some thought given to making choices about which are the more important facts about the history to present. Because the article is so long it would probably take a lot of time to improve it all, and the DYK people are getting antsy about the nomination staying open there.

My suggestion is that if you want to keep GA now I think it would be better to split off most of the History section into its own article and then focus on a shorter History section here, covering the most important aspects of its history. Otherwise, I think it would be better to close the GA assessment for now so that you can take your time improving the prose. As I said, I think the Guild of Copy Editors would be helpful here. Well, making decisions about what's most important is one of the hardest and most important parts of good writing! A good goal would be to try to condense each subsection into one, maybe two paragraphs. I condensed the "Predecessor" subsection as an example. Good things to keep are major changes to the railroad and its operation, and interesting facts. For example, the fact that the railroad went bankrupt and changed ownership because one of the ferries blew up is a major change, and the fact that some stations are named after farms and people who invested in the railroad is interesting. Things like the names of the locomotives and all the ferry companies acquired by the railroad, or a story about a potential foreclosure on the locomotives that didn't end up actually happening, don't need to be here. Readers can still learn about these at the separate article if they want, but only the most important facts go here. Hopefully this example helps. Bombardier's financial crisis continues

Since you love the R32's and R42's very much, you will see them in service for many more years to come. Here's the scoop from Marketwatch dated December 22, 2015 about Bombardier's money woes. I guess Bombardier owes their creditors and vendors an awful lot of money. I reviewed their annual balance sheet and it does NOT look good at all (HUGE LOSSES in the billions).

A recent Reuters report said Bombardier is exploring the sale of any of its other business units, as well as a potential investments from private-equity firms, hedge funds or other foreign governments, something Scotiabank (Bombardier's creditor) analyst Turan Quettawala said might be necessary.

Bombardier has announced that it will spin off its train-making unit through an initial public offering next year, but the analyst said the accretion from this “is not likely to be that material.”

In addition, it is unlikely to resolve Bombardier’s balance-sheet cash-flow crunch and will negatively impact the company’s access to debt markets.

“As such, we don’t see this as the right course of action,” Quettawala said, because Bombardier will run out of cash by mid-2016.

If we read and comprehend this article correctly, it may appear that no new R179 subway cars will be produced by Bombardier until a buyer is found, and the new buyer and owner will possibly build and produce these new R179 subway cars, and agree with all terms of the contract set forth by the MTA.

Excitable user who works on subway articles

Regarding the 3RR report at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/3RRArchive303#User:TheManchoMan reported by User:100.12.206.17 (Result: Blocked). Recently you left a notice on an IP talk. This seems to be an alternate account of User:TheManchoMan. Do you have any ideas of what to do? He seems to be an endless fount of personal attacks. His edits aren't useful and other editors including Vcohen, who along with me works on the transit pages, don't agree with his edits. Why do we need all that info about why the R won't be extended further into Manhattan or Queens? or that it no longer needs to skip 53rd and 45th Streets? or how much it costs? or the 4th Avenue relay impact? When the J was extended to Broad Street in 2015 or the weekend M to Essex Street in 2014, we just simply said they were being extended and why. I didn't see anything saying why can't the J go into Brooklyn or the M to Chambers, how much these extensions cost, or how it impacts other services. Also, the R extension will not happen until this Fall and some things can change along the way that can impact it, so I feel it it is too soon to mention so much detail since they can change frequently. Maybe it will extend to Midtown or Queens, maybe it will not happen at all.
