Hatnote

Has anyone in the known universe ever confused Joe Montana with Joe Mantegna other than Eagles247? I've never seen a more unnecessary disambig note above the lede in any WP article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.186.45.94 (talk) 04:36, 5 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Mantegna is pronounced Mon-tAn-ya. Montana is pronounced Mon-tan-a. The pronunciation is very similar, and some people many type in Joe Montana into Wikipedia when they are looking for Mantega. Eagles 24/7 (C) 04:40, 5 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You need to update where it says Len Dawson offered #16 to Joe Montana when he went to Kansas City.

"I wouldn't like them to un-retire it," Dawson said. "Lamar Hunt retired my number, not that I ever asked him to, but he said on the field in 1976 that no Chief would ever wear 16 again."
