An article you recently created, Last Day on Earth (Duran Duran song), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Gillette, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page English (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:06, 29 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Moline1. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Last Day on Earth".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! Mjs1991 (talk) 07:48, 14 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Shock punk has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Judging from Gbooks and Google Scholar, "shock punk" is not really a thing. This dab is WP:XY as neither of the articles says anything about "shock punk".

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. A tag has been placed on File:McCartneyIII.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused duplicate or lower-quality copy of another file on Wikipedia having the same file format, and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. funplussmart (talk) 19:19, 21 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:McCartneyIII.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:McCartneyIII.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 23 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry. I only added Invest 96-L (It's correct name for right now) as it has a high chance of development (80%). Now that I think about it, Invests more than likely fall under either WP:TOOSOON or WP:CRYSTAL BALL. This should become a depression/storm soon at which point it can be added back in under its new name (like ETA). Also, what is F13? You mentioned it in the edit summary on the page, but I could not find any info on it within the Wikipedia policies you linked to (unless I missed it). Moline1 (talk) 03:03, 31 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It is all good. I understand, your edit was reverted as we usually don't mention invests until they begin to have advisories come out, at which case they are classified as a tropical cyclone. That is why I left this on your talk page. I was not the person who reverted your edit, but the person who did revert your edit was referring to an organization known as "Force thirteen, which is a group of of people on Youtube who make videos about tropical cyclones, but they are not accurate when it comes to the system strengths, and they commonly go against the NHC for tropical cyclone classifications. I think they inferred that you got your info from them based on the way your edit looked. My apologies, I just wanted to leave this message on your talk page just in case you didn't know why your edit was reverted, or how to edit a tropical cyclone page. I hope this helps in some way, thanks for the response. 🌀Weatherman27🏈 (talk). 03:24, 31 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, ok. Thanks for your reply. The info that I used for the Invest 96-L section came from Weather Channel, and not YouTube Videos. I am a bit surprised YouTubers do that. I'm surprised the NHC hasn't tried to stop them. Still no development yet, but probably later today or tomorrow, it will have. Moline1 (talk) 13:45, 31 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Oh okay, yeah that is fine, as I said before we don't label the system until it is officially labeled as a tropical cyclone, so when they begin to release advisories and updates. I was surprised too, until I looked them up, and found that there is actually a decent number of people who believe what F13 says, even though some of the things they say are false. For example, they did a recap of the 2019 Hurricane season, and they thought that Hurricane Lorenzo was only a category 4, that Jerry was only a Cat 1, and that Nestor was a Subtropical storm. Apparently sometimes people try to edit Wikipedia because they think F13 is correct, though it isn't at all. I honestly don't think that the NHC cares, because it is a relatively small channel voicing their opinions, and honestly I think that most people trust the NHC way more that some small Youtube channel anyway. 🌀Weatherman27🏈 (talk). 15:41, 31 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Exactly! The info Weather Channel gets is straight from the NHC and the Models (GFS, EURO, etc). Definitely not like the YouTube junk out there. Still nothing as of yet per Weather Channel Radar. Moline1 (talk) 19:44, 31 October 2020 (UTC) Yes indeed. It appears that the NHC has begun to label the system. Also, I left an invite to our wiki-project if you're interested in joining.🌀Weatherman27🏈 (talk). 21:36, 31 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I may join. This hurricane season has had me intrigued as I do not remember 2005's at all. Moline1 (talk) 21:48, 31 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, looks like it. Yes it is very intriguing, I agree, for me at least it was very memorable. 🌀Weatherman27🏈 (talk). 21:52, 31 October 2020 (UTC) Well, Here we are two days later with a strong hurricane threatening Central America. it is amazing how quickly these systems have intensified lately. 🌀Weatherman27🏈 (chat with me!). 17:59, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It is! What happens when this moves over water again is up for grabs. Weather Channel said it could either remain the same, or weaken, loose everything, and attain a new identity (rather than be rechristened under ETA). Moline1 (talk) 22:10, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, from what I have been hearing, the system could do anything, as it is still too early to tell, but I have been hearing that once it makes landfall it may become a CAG which will lead to more rainfall and spawn another system. 🌀Weatherman27🏈 (chat with me!). 01:32, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

We will have to wait and see. I'm kind of curious to see how far we get into the Greek Alphabet before the season ends (provided the storms don't landfall), although we cannot discount December (see 2005), and that has 31 days of potential tropical activity. Only time will tell. Moline1 (talk) 02:08, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. I am too, I am hoping it ends sooner rather than later, it sure has been tiring lol. I agree though, we can't discount any month of the year provided conditions are favorable for development. 🌀Weatherman27🏈 (chat with me!). 03:44, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Also, if you join the WPTC, here is a welcome in advanced! 🌀Weatherman27🏈 (chat with me!). 01:47, 7 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Well, we have Invest 97-L as well as another area that is not yet an invest in addition to Eta. Next storm is Iotta (or whatever name it is). 🌀Weatherman27🏈 Moline1 (talk) 14:58, 9 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I saw it this morning, it'll be interesting to see what comes of the system. 🌀Weatherman27🏈 (chat with me!). 16:24, 9 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes it will! Invest 97-L has 80% chance while the one closer to ETA has 50% right now. Moline1 (talk) 00:09, 10 November 2020 (UTC) definitely. 🌀Weatherman27🏈 (chat with me!). 00:31, 10 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Subtropical Storm Theta just formed. Heard it on my local weather cast. 2020 is now more active than 2005 (2005 technically had an ETA, but it went unnoticed till 2006, and so wasn't named) Moline1 (talk) 03:55, 10 November 2020 (UTC) Very crazy. Who would have thought that this season would turn out like this...🌀Weatherman27🏈 (chat with me!). 04:12, 10 November 2020 (UTC) Right? We still have that other area to watch with a 50% chance of development. This will be Iota if it does anything. We also have 31 days of December as well. If that happens, not only will we have much more storms than 2005, we would also have more off-season storms than 2005 (2005 had December storms, while 2020 currently has only May). Only time will tell. Moline1 (talk) 04:19, 10 November 2020 (UTC) definitely.. 🌀Weatherman27🏈 (chat with me!). 04:31, 10 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
