List of Serie A players that represented unofficial national football teams

This is a list of Serie A players that represented unofficial national football teams or authonomous region football teams. The following players:

  1. have played at least one Serie A game.
  2. have been capped at least once for the listed football teams.

The following team, indeed:

  1. must not be a FIFA member
  2. must be (or have been) subscribed to at least one of non FIFA football association like N.F.-Board or CONIFA or have been recognised, anyway, as an official selection-teams not affiliated to FIFA.

This is NOT a list of footballers per geographical region, territory or other entities. Inclusion must respect principles for Non-FIFA international football

List of Afro-Italian Serie A players

This is a list of Serie A players that are Italian as per FIFA eligibility rules but have African descendents, heritage or double nationality. In order to appear in this list players must:

  1. have played at least one Serie A game.
  2. have not been capped for any National football team different from Italy or, if capped for youth teams, they then switched fot Italy national football teams.
  3. have African descendents, heritage or additional nationality via one of their parents and/or place of birth.
  4. not have decided to represent African countries after having represented Italy at youth levels.
  5. not have earned Italian citizenship after they moved there for playing (or work), as second citizenship.

This is NOT a list of footballers per place, region or country of birth only. Players are listed in alphabetical order alongside the African country/ies they are related to.

The below Serie A players are considered foreign (as per FIFA eligibility rules) having decided to represent African national football teams.

Serie A Players that may switch nationality

This is a list of actual and former Serie A players that may switch nationality (according FIFA eligibility rules) respect actual holding, and debut in a new national football team. In order to appear in this list players must:

  1. have played at least one Serie A game.
  2. have been capped for any National football team but been still able to switch (e.g. youth rosters or friendly matches capped only) or
  3. not having been capped for any national football team but been able to switch to a NFT different from those of their actual countryship

This is NOT a list of footballers per place, region or country of birth only. Players are listed per: 1) Confederation, 2) Country NFT for which they may switch and 3) Family name. Players in bold have already been called up for the new NFT, but never debuted. Players crossed are closed to debut in Serie A.
