Unreferenced BLPs

Hello DXRD! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 3 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to these articles, it would greatly help us with the current 938 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Uche Sherif - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Timmy Bowers - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  3. Ed Elisma - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

March 2010

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Category:Ironi Naharyia players has been reverted, as it appears to have removed content from the page without explanation. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. Stillwaterising (talk) 14:00, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The team is called Ironi Nahariya so I just fixed the category into it's proper finction, delete this page/category: [1]

The article Ramon Clemente has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Regards, SunCreator (talk) 01:41, 5 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

May 2010

Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of previously published material to our articles as you apparently did to Black Hebrew Israelites. Please cite a reliable source for all of your information. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 18:23, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Anti-Semitism on Wikipedia

Wikipedia must check out all the articles which related to the Jewish people, to their history and religion (Judaism), and to the state of Israel (alongside Zionism) for the presence of anti-Jewish (including anti-Judaism) and even anti-Israeli and anti-Zionist edits and discussion, and remove it off Wikipedia.

July 2010

Please stop. If you continue to add defamatory content, as you did to Israelites‎, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. your edit summary, " you louzy Europeans racists try to denay it - you are not Israelites so shut up and don't lie!!!)", is not acceptable, please do not attack other editors. Dougweller (talk) 12:52, 17 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am terribly sorry for my reaction, but it brings me nerves to read all those anti-Jewish theories disguised as some "good quality information", unfortunatly Wikipedia (at all languages) are under attack against the Jews, many claims such as the ones I described above tries to deny any connection/relation between the modern day Jews to their Israelites anscestors, by claiming that they are "sons of proselytes" - while the editors (extremist Christians, extreme Muslims or Black Hebrew Israelites, etc.) are the "real Israelites descendants" (some have written at the Portugese Wikipedia that "92% of modern day Jews are descendants of Khazars", while genetics studies shows otherwise). Excuse me for saying this, but Wikipedia is touched with hatred and politics and it's under gathering attack of anti-semites, and it must be stopped !!! --DXRD (talk) 13:04, 17 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's under attack always by various pov pushers. But it's important for those fighting this sort of thing to keep their cool. Dougweller (talk) 13:14, 17 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

DXRD please come to the Talk:Israelites to discuss issues with the artilce. Weaponbb7 (talk) 19:16, 17 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Dougweller, this is why Wikipedia must start a new "anti-racism and anti-semitism" group of editors who will check all the latest activities on articles and will remove it, you may start with the user nicknamed "Cush" who is spreading some anti-Jewish edits alongside some other users here at the English Wikipedia (and probably on other languages as well).

Cush is Currently, on probation for that type of behavior, you need not worry about it. Weaponbb7 (talk) 17:27, 18 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Weaponbb7, there are too many unaccorate information in the Isrealites page, please bring up good quality sources to support the information that had been added on the page, and please remove all the mistakes off it.--DXRD (talk) 17:21, 18 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Then Come discuss it on the talkpage that is what we do. Sadly we are unable to read minds so we just see you changing information and have no idea why! how about we come and discuss on the specific issues talk page ? Weaponbb7 (talk) 17:27, 18 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Cush is equally against all religions, he doesn't single Judaism out - he's a special case. :-) Dougweller (talk) 17:57, 18 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Dude you need to stop marking as "minor" because a glance at some of you work indicates very few of them are. Weaponbb7 (talk) 20:54, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

("Dude?" Yea, I'd probably ignore your talk page posting if you called me Dude). In any event, DXRD it would be better if you don't mark significant edits as minor. If your account is set to mark edits as minor by default you can go to "my preferences," "Editing" tab, and uncheck "Mark all edits minor by default." Please do not attack other editors, as you did here: Talk:Israelites. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Weaponbb7 (talk) 12:59, 8 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Talk:Israelites. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Something is must be done with all those anti-Jewish users who spread their hatred towards Jews and wicked ideology in the page I edited, please remove their contant and block those users.--DXRD (talk) 11:50, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove information from articles, as you did to Talk:Israelites. Wikipedia is not censored, and content is not removed even if some believe it to be contentious. Please discuss this issue on the article's talk page to reach consensus rather than continuing to remove the disputed material. You also have the option to configure Wikipedia to hide the images that you may find offensive. Thank you.   — Jeff G.  ツ 12:01, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

He is a racist. If you don't care that's Wikipedia's problem, afterwards don't look someone to blame when Wikipedia will be criticised for racism/anti-semitism, you could have stopped it. You still can, if you'll block users of this kind.--DXRD (talk) 12:51, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, because we're all admins here with the power to block one another at will. Seriously, with due respect, you need to accept that not everyone is going to agree with you. Or us, for that matter. I share your anti-racist views, but this really isn't the way to deal with the issue! Wikipedia is not censored. Possible criticisms are an irrelevant issue; operating in accordance with the guiding principles of Wikipedia is the issue. KaySL (talk) 13:08, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
May I also point out DXRD, besides the personal attack, you were also calling for a Block when the editor has been blocked for months. BB7 (talk) 13:22, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not make statements attacking people or groups of people. Wikipedia has a strict policy against personal attacks. Attack pages and images are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who continue to create or repost such pages and images in violation of our biographies of living persons policy will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.   — Jeff G.  ツ 02:31, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No personal attacks

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive comments.
If you continue to make personal attacks on other people, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. JohnCD (talk) 08:44, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is a collaborative effort which can only succeed on a basis of mutual civility. Personal attacks and "flaming", though common on some websites, are unacceptable here. The continuing warnings you have received show that you do not seem to understand this. Please read Wikipedia is not a battleground, WP:AGF, WP:CIVIL and WP:NPA carefully before you edit again. JohnCD (talk) 08:53, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I see that you have more than once removed other editors' comments from talk pages because you do not approve of the opinions expressed. It is permissible to remove other editors' comments only under very special circumstances, such as libel, and not because those comments express opinions which you do not wish to see expressed. It is not acceptable to attempt to impose a particular point of view, or to suppress expression of another point of view, no matter how certain you may be that your point of view is the "correct" one. JamesBWatson (talk) 10:21, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

October 2010

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits.

The next time you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced or poorly sourced defamatory or otherwise controversial content into an article or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Darnell Robinson, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.   — Jeff G.  ツ 03:08, 9 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What do you want? All I did is to add him and Norris Coleman to Category:Bnei Hertzeliya basketball players (they did played there you know)... I think you or any other anti-Israeli users are trying to block me for spreading helpful information to articles which is related to Israel.--DXRD (talk) 12:22, 9 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No, I don't know - please cite your reliable sources, as the Italian Wikipedia is not a reliable source (same as for all Wikipedia projects). Also, I consider calling me an anti-Israeli user a personal attack - please don't make personal attacks. Thank you.   — Jeff G.  ツ 15:19, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Jamie Arnold (basketball) has been reverted, as it appears to have removed content from the page without explanation. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you.   — Jeff G.  ツ 03:26, 11 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at Israelites, you may be blocked from editing. The Resident Anthropologist (talk) 21:24, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It turns out that it's normal for historians to refer to the area as Palestine, regardless of what it was called back then. [2][3] You should also note that the editor I reverted is a POV-pushing WP:SPA, which is to say that they're about 1.5cm from being a vandal. Dylan Flaherty 22:11, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of Sanctions

The Arbitration Committee has permitted administrators to impose discretionary sanctions (information on which is at Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions) on any editor who is active on pages broadly related to the Arab-Israeli conflict. Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, satisfy any standard of behavior, or follow any normal editorial process. If you inappropriately edit pages relating to this topic, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or an article ban. The Committee's full decision can be read at the "Final decision" section of the decision page.

Please familiarise yourself with the information page at Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions, with the appropriate sections of Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Procedures, and with the case decision page before making any further edits to the pages in question. This notice is given by an uninvolved administrator and will be logged on the case decision, pursuant to the conditions of the Arbitration Committee's discretionary sanctions system.

You are reported at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Enforcement. Zerotalk 13:22, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please respond

See WP:AE#DXRD. An editor has complained that you violated the WP:1RR restriction at Palestinian people. Unless you reply to the AE complaint and promise to wait for consensus a block is likely. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 16:31, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for edit warring, as you did at Palestinian people. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.   Sandstein  18:17, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Arbitration enforcement topic ban: Arab-Israeli conflict

The following sanction now applies to you (in accordance with the procedure described at Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions):

You are indefinitely topic-banned (WP:TBAN) from everything related to the Arab-Israeli conflict.

You have been sanctioned for the reason(s) set down in this Arbitration Enforcement request

This sanction is imposed in my capacity as an uninvolved administrator under the authority of the Arbitration Committee's decision at Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Palestine-Israel articles#Final decision. This sanction has been recorded on the log of sanctions for that decision. If the sanction includes a topic ban, please read the banning policy to ensure you understand what this means. If you do not comply with this sanction, you may be blocked for an extended period, by way of enforcement of this sanction—and you may also be made subject to further sanctions.

You may appeal this sanction using the process described here. I recommend that you use the arbitration enforcement appeals template if you wish to submit an appeal to the enforcement noticeboard. You may also appeal directly to me (on my talk page), before or instead of appealing to the noticeboard.  Even if you appeal this sanction, you remain bound by it until you are notified by an uninvolved administrator that the appeal has been successful. You are also free to contact me on my talk page if anything of the above is unclear to you.  Sandstein  12:38, 19 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Palestinian people

I came here to warn you about renewed edit warring, and see above you are topic banned from this article, leave it be. Darkness Shines (talk) 19:20, 21 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

To enforce an arbitration decision, and for violation of topic ban on the page Palestinian people,
you have been blocked from editing for two weeks. You are welcome to make useful contributions once the block expires. If you believe this block is unjustified, please read the guide to appealing arbitration enforcement blocks and then appeal your block using the instructions there. Bbb23 (talk) 01:15, 22 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Reminder to administrators: In March 2010, ArbCom adopted a procedure prohibiting administrators "from reversing or overturning (explicitly or in substance) any action taken by another administrator pursuant to the terms of an active arbitration remedy, and explicitly noted as being taken to enforce said remedy, except: (a) with the written authorization of the Committee, or (b) following a clear, substantial, and active consensus of uninvolved editors at a community discussion noticeboard (such as WP:AN or WP:ANI). If consensus in such discussions is hard to judge or unclear, the parties should submit a request for clarification on the proper page." Administrators who reverse an arbitration enforcement block, such as this one, without clear authorisation will be summarily desysopped.

Disambiguation link notification for March 4

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Jews, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Book of Kings and Exodus (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

A tag has been placed on File:ISRAEL HISTORY GRAPH2.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
