Ouya

I'll support sensible inclusions where they are relevant. There was ongoing discussion around if OUYA even counts as 8th gen on the talk page and the page was even protected for a while last week as that exact user was just relentlessly adding the same paragraph. Theres a very grey area right now as to if OUYA is deserving of an 8th gen inclusion when there are other Android devices currently available offering 99% of what it does.

I'm not sure why you changed my sources for the 2 new games I added to the OUYA List of Software via OUYAForum.com. These were the original sources for the games, directly from the games' publishers. You changed my sources to game pages on facebook and steam that were not the correct cited source. Hi there. I mussed about in my sandbox doing the exact same thing you did! I suppose great minds think alike. I came across yours via the Ouya console image page. I'll be borrowing some stuff from yours to add to mine! I did remove some things from the Wii U's side (the user interface portion was just too bloated) but I'd say you probably did the better version! Consensus and WP:FLAT

FYI, WP:FLAT doesn't give you the right to go directly against consensus. Especially since it's just an essay, not policy. If you find new information for your viewpoint, great, bring it to the discussion page. But you can't use it as a rationale for doing whatever you want and going directly against a consensus you're clearly aware of. Please discuss further on the 8th gen page. Thanks. History of video game consoles (eighth generation)

Regarding the TechPowerUp article: before I deleted non sourced content from History of video game consoles (eighth generation) article, the Wii U's TechPowerUp article was listing the its memory as GDDR5 and the bandwidth as approximately @ 20 GHz/s. As you've seen, there's been a speedy edit, whether it was reported after my edits or not, I don't know. But the fact is that the reliability of this source is now being put into question. Thank you for your reply. I've checked again and everything seems to be in order. The only reason I've put the reliability into question is because they changed the memory info in a matter of minutes I believe, between my edit and yours to the History of video game consoles (eighth generation) article. And yes, the eDRAM bandwidth numbers put the Wii U in good position but that is far from what my goal is on Wikipedia. I just want everything listed to be the truth, be it the Wii U, PS4 or Xbox One. Rutgers University vs Rutgers New Bruswick

There are infobox templates for a unified university system, but there are also templates established for each campus. Be careful how you edit templates. The Scarlet Knights sports teams are only associated wiith New Brunswick/Piscataway. Camden and Newark have their own teams, not the Scarlet Knights. Same with Arts and Sciences, only New Brunswick/Piscataway, not Camden or Newark.......Any questions, lets have a discussion......Pvmoutside (talk) 23:36, 21 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Are you even a Rutgers student? Rutgers is one university. The article in question was originally "Athletics at Rutgers University", and as such, still have sections from Rutgers-Newark and Rutgers-Camden in the page. There is also no such thing as the "New-Brunswick/Piscataway" campus. There are five residential campuses of the New Brunswick campus, of which "Piscataway" is not one (Livingston, Busch, College Ave, Cook, Douglass...). -Kai445 (talk) 23:40, 21 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I realize Rutgers has a structure that is somewhat unified looking at all the information available regarding the campuses. I do know they are somewhat distinct in they do have separate chancellors, and I do know the sports teams are different. I also know the current template structure allows more links to be added if the campuses are split template wise. I thought the current structure allows for enough unification, but enough distintinguishing characteristics. I don't have to be a Rutgers student or alum to read the info available on the Rutgers website. I'm trying to be helpful defining the structure a little better. Your way assumes that the entire Rutgers system follows the Scarlet Knights which does not occur according to Rutgers own web site. Rutgers own website lists regional campuses of New Brunswick, Camden, and Newark. I'm not trying to cause issues, just a little better clarity. All Rutgers students, regardless of campus, can buy student season tickets for all Scarlet Knights games. And splitting things up is problematic, for example Rutgers Business School spans two campuses (Newark and New Brunswick) and shares a unified curriculum and professors teach on both campuses, often on the same day (literally teach in the morning at New Brunswick and then drive to Newark to teach in the evening) or on alternating days. Rutgers Law is going to be merged as of Fall 2015, and share a unified curriculum and admissions (Camden and Newark). I was contemplating starting a "Rutgers Law" page (maybe in sandbox) in anticipation. Also, I got EC'd like twice so far, so annoying, lol. -Kai445 (talk) 00:05, 22 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Additionally... All three campuses use unified RUID (student ID) numbers and ID cards. They share centralized authentication and computing services (NetID, CAS SSO, RUWireless), New Brunswick and Newark both have Rutgers Campus Buses, New Brunswick and Camden both utilize the same RUExpress (prepaid $ on ID cards) system, parking permits are cross-honored between campuses (e.g. Newark Prepaid can park in New Brunswick on Livingston before 6pm and on any commuter lot after 6pm, New Brunswick can be used for a RUN-Pass discount at Newark Deck 1). Faculty are considered "Rutgers" employees, not "Rutgers (campus xyz)" employees. Perhaps most importantly, diplomas awarded don't distinguish between campuses, they all say "Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey". -Kai445 (talk) 00:15, 22 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

But Newark does have the Scarlet Raiders and Camden has the Scarlet Raptors...That's why I left the Business School on the university page, and provided links to it on both the Newark and New Brunswick infoboxes. The structure that is in place now doesn't state they are separate universities, just separate regional campuses, which they are....I'll have no problem with you editing the Rutgers Law School page, I know administrators change things all the time!....Go at it! Thank you for your efforts to understand the campus and Rutgers. It is kind of a unique system. Rutgers has only ever been moving towards integration, not separation, and students university-wide all share the same pride for RU :). Believe me, I'm not trying to walk over any campus, on the contrary, my goal is to integrate the Rutgers articles together. No problem. I realize it is one university, but as you recognize it is a bit of a hybrid. In Wikipedia:Templates for discussion/Log/2014 September 21 Staticshakedown recognizes the information in the campus template, and notes the large size of the current Rutgers template. Perhaps the suggestion of using collapsible templates for the campuses makes a worthwhile compromise.
