I mostly work in the Articles for Creation process, but I also am involved with the Guild of Copy Editors and am an avid follower of ArbCom reports. I live in Pittsburgh and would love to help you out. I tend to be a bit verbose, but am always ready to help you. I started hosting because I issue so many Teahouse invites in my AfC work and decided to help out here myself.

Brambleberry has been an editor since Christmas 2007. She's a WikiPuma whose main topics of expertise are YA fantasy novels, mythology, and animals. So if you have a YA fantasy novel about a mythological animal, she's your girl. She answers questions about how Wikipedia runs and where you should go for various things. Don't ask her about pictures, though. She doesn't know what she's talking about there.
I will always be on your side. I'm your medicine cat. You can trust me with anything. —~Brambleberry to Crookedstar, Kate Cary, Crookedstar's Promise
Hi, I'm a Wikipedian from North Yorkshire, in England. Whilst most of my article writing has been about mountains and churches, I am willing to help new users with anything from collaborating on DYKs to the nitty-gritty on how the project works, as well as any other general help.

I'm a member of Wikiproject elements, for one thing, and I tend to improve existing articles within that project's scope. I also sometimes expand WP:STUBs on rivers and write articles on objects/events with some historical significance. I'm also a fairly active vandal-fighter. I've been a Wikipedian since August 2012.
I've been active on Wikipedia since 2009, and I tend to do a bit of everything on Wikipedia - writing, proof-reading and helping around. I may disappear off the radar for periods as I drown in school work, but I'll be back editing furiously during school breaks!

I've been on Wikipedia for seven months now (that can't be right...), and I feel that I'd be able to help new users. I feel that sometimes not enough is done to ensure that new users understand how Wikipedia works. Howicus (talk) 02:35, 19 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Nthep is a bit of a WikiGnome with an interest in history. Most of his best Wikipedia work is done with feline assistance (see photo). He also prefers coffee or beer to tea. Favourite thing he's learned from Wikipedia - that he's not an intellectual because he can't listen to the William Tell Overture without thinking of the Lone Ranger
He who never makes mistakes never makes anything - so apt for Wikipedia. No-one should be afraid to try and edit, as anything can be repaired if it's not right.

I'm active in many areas of Wikipedia, depending on how I feel at the time; at present I'm usually to be found pottering around dealing with admin backlogs. I actually spend more time deleting than creating these days; if your article got tagged for deletion, I will probably be able to explain why, and maybe help you redraft it to comply with Wikipedia's requirements.

Though I have quite a lot of experience in other areas, my main activity recently has been patrolling new pages (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:NewPagesFeed). Most of what I do is speedy deletes, AfD's and Tagging. I thought it might be helpful to try to answer new editors questions and advise them before they create new articles, rather than speedy deleting them after they create them.
