Binibining Pilipinas 2019 was the 56th edition of Binibining Pilipinas. It was held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Philippines on June 9, 2019.[1]
At the end of the event, Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray crowned her successor Gazini Ganados of Talisay, Cebu as Miss Universe Philippines 2019. Ganados will represent the country for Miss Universe 2019, while Miss International 2018 first runner-up Maria Ahtisa Manalo crowned Bea Patricia Magtanong of Bataan as Binibining Pilipinas-International 2019. Magtanong will represent the country for Miss International 2019.[2]
The pageant also awarded four titles to Philippine representatives to four minor international beauty pageants. Miss Supranational 2018 Top 10 Finalist Jehza Mae Huelar crowned Resham Saeed of Maguindanao as Binibining Pilipinas-Supranational 2019; Miss Intercontinental 2018 Karen Gallman crowned Emma Tiglao of Pampanga as Binibining Pilipinas-Intercontinental 2019; Binibining Pilipinas-Grand International 2018 Eva Patalinjug crowned Samantha Ashley Lo of Cebu as Binibining Pilipinas-Grand International 2019 and; Miss Globe 2018 Top 15 Finalist Michele Gumabao crowned Leren Mae Bautista of Laguna as Binibining Pilipinas-Globe 2019.[3]
1st Runner-Up Maria Andrea Abesamis took over the Binibining Pilipinas-Grand International 2019 title after Samantha Lo's resignation to the title on November 27, 2019.[4]
The 2019 edition also marks the first time Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BPCI) collaborated with the newly established Miss Universe Philippines Organization, owned by the LCS Group,[5] which incited new changes and upgrades to the pre-pageant activities, coordinations and the pageant itself. This is also the last year of Miss Universe Philippines and Miss Supranational Philippines under Binibining Pilipinas.
