Built originally as a one-room school with a Lodge upstairs; a new school was built in 1925, and the Board of Education sold the building to Lodge #329, and the bottom floor (school room) was converted into a country store. The Lodge closed in 1945, when it consolidated with Middlebourne Lodge #69. The building has been abandoned for several years and is in very deteriorated shape.
