East Danish is a South Scandinavian language spoken in Bornholm (Bornholmsk dialect) in Denmark and in Blekinge, Halland, Skåne (Scanian dialect) and the southern parts of Småland in Sweden. The dialects spoken in Sweden have been heavily influenced by Swedish, and are now often considered to be South Swedish dialects.
