The World Snowshoe Federation (WSSF), former International Snowshoe Federation (ISF or ISSF), is the world governing body for Snowshoe running.[1]

Since 2015 has changed its name to the present, for not to be confused with the other international federations existing: ISSF (International Shooting Sport Federation) and ISF (International Skyrunning Federation).

World championships

The alleged world championships of the Snowshoe running are possibly annual competitions (only the 1st and 2nd edition not was held every year), supposedly organised for the first time in 2006.[2]
