Japan

Armenian-Japanese relations are foreign relations between Armenia and Japan. Both countries established diplomatic relations on September 7, 1992. Armenia is represented in Japan through its embassy in Beijing (China). Japan is represented in Armenia through its embassy in Moscow (Russia). In 2001, Armenia's President announced that the nation was planning to set up an embassy in Tokyo as soon as possible.[1]

There are around 20-100 people of Armenian descent living in Japan.[citation needed]
