Government College of Fine Arts, Thrissur is a fine arts college in the city of Thrissur in Kerala, state of India.[1][2]

History

The college was started in 1910 and was known as Technical Industry School. In 1939 it was upgraded to a trade school and in 1943 it was developed as the Government Occupational Institute. In 1972 it was upgraded as the Government Institute of Arts. In 2000, the College was affiliated to University of Calicut and changes its name to Government Fine Arts College.
