Career

Pre-debut acting appearances

In 2006, Chanwoo appeared in the music video for TVXQ's "Balloons", playing a younger Max Changmin.[1]

In 2008, he appeared in the movie Lost and Found (달콤한 거짓말) and subsequently in a number of drama series, beginning with The Great King Sejong. He is known for playing a younger Lee Minho in the series Boys Over Flowers and The Heirs.[2]

2014: Mix & Match and iKON

In late 2014, it was announced that the YG Entertainment trainees that had previously competed as "Team B" in the reality survival programme WIN: Who Is Next would be participating in a subsequent survival programme, Mix & Match, for the chance to become part of a new group. The first episode of Mix & Match premiered on September 11.[3] While trainees B.I, Bobby, and Jinhwan were confirmed for the seven-member lineup, the remaining three members of Team B competed with three new trainees, including Chanwoo, for the four remaining places. Chanwoo was officially confirmed as a member of iKON on November 5, 2014, and the group made their debut on September 15, 2015.[4]
