KHCB-AM and KHCB-FM station offices

KHCB (1400 AM) is a radio station licensed to League City, Texas, USA, and serving the Houston area. The station is currently owned by Houston Christian Broadcasters, Inc. 1400 originally was licensed to Galveston, Texas as KFLX, changing to the Island's legendary "Big 14 KILE" Top 40 format on September 2, 1957. Houston Christian Broadcasters purchased this facility in 1991, changing KILE to KHCB (AM) and moving its format to Spanish Christian. The facility was relocated to the mainland, near Texas City, Texas in 2009.[1]
