LJ Air or Longjiang Airlines Co.Ltd is a scheduled airline based at Harbin Taiping International Airport, Harbin, China. The airline commenced its first flight on 10 February 2017 from Harbin to Hefei.[1] The airline earlier was scheduled to launch operations from June 2016 but it was delayed. The airline commenced services with 2 Airbus A321s. The airline received its AOC certificate in February 2017[2].

History

LJ Air or Longjiang Airlines was founded in 2014 with its headquarters in Harbin, China. The airline was to start its operations in December 2015, but was delayed due to some reasons. The airline then wanted to start operations in June 2016 but again was delayed due to delays in receiving its AOC certificate, which the airline finally received in February 2017. The airline finally started operations on 10 February 2017, operating the flight between Harbin and Hefei with an Airbus A321. The airline currently has a fleet of 1 Airbus 320 and 2 Airbus A321s.

Destinations

As of August 2018, LJ Air serves three destinations in China. The airline plans to open up new services to other destinations to China in the coming years.[3]

Fleet

As of August 2018, LJ Air operates a fleet of 2 Airbus A321s and 1 Airbus A320, with one of the A321s stored.[4]
