Anthony Davis was drafted by the New Orleans Pelicans, not the Hornets, as it states in his bio. 140.232.175.90 (talk) 01:00, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not done:. It was still the New Orleans Hornets that time when he was drafted. VictorTorres2002 (talk) 04:13, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Grand Slam

[edit]

I see no reason why we can't refer to Davis' feat of winning an NCAA/NBA/Olympic/FIBA title as a Grand Slam.

It isn't original research, as FIBA itself coined the term.

Prior consensus at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_National_Basketball_Association/Archive_40#Anthony_Davis_Grand_Slam, in which you also participated, was to not include.—Bagumba (talk) 23:06, 10 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I barely remember what I had for breakfast, much less a Wiki discussion from 2 years ago. Vjmlhds (talk) 23:48, 10 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
In the time since we last assembled here, bot the NBA and Olympics have also recognized Davis as having won the basketball Grand Slam, which is documented in the article. Vjmlhds (talk) 04:51, 30 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
And none of those are independent references, so that doesn't actually address the original tag or the reason it was removed from the lead section. Left guide (talk) 05:01, 30 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Can you Make a Player Profile for Anthony Davis? JwillWiki454 (talk) 09:02, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Kpgjhpjm 09:07, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Youngest to lead the NBA in blocks

[edit]

List of NBA regular season records formerly listed Davis as the youngest NBA blocks leader at 21 years, 36 days (on April 16, 2014). Now Victor Wembanyama is the youngest at 20 years, 101 days (on April 14, 2024). I have no source to show that Davis held the record for 10 years or I would include it in his article.-TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 05:35, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
