Feedback from New Page Review process

[edit]

I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: Thank you for this new article. For the photo montage of the four dogs, I recommend pointing out specifically which is which, as in "Clockwise from lower left..." ---DOOMSDAYER520 (Talk|Contribs) 13:18, 18 October 2019 (UTC).[reply]

Hello, there is a discussion to merge the articles Bull and terrier with Staffordshire Bull Terrier. You are welcome to participate. Blockhouse321 (talk) 13:18, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Some thoughts

[edit]

SMcCandlish courtesy ping, re:merge proposal. I had a chance to do a bit of research; first to see how this article even made it into mainspace. "Bull-type" sounds more like something we'd use in the livestock industry. Granted, "bull" is used as a nickname for bulldogs so I did a Google trend search for "bull-type terrier" to see what comes up, and here it is: "Hmm, your search doesn't have enough data to show here." The article clearly doesn't fit the criteria for a list, and it certainly doesn't fit WP:GNG as an article, so I'm thinking maybe a redirect to Bull and terrier will suffice. Everyone is invited to weigh-in here. Atsme 💬 📧 01:52, 15 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds reasonable to me. We don't seem to need two separate pages for these terms since they seem to refer to the same thing.  — SMcCandlish ¢ 😼  04:41, 15 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
