Philanthropy information lacking?

[edit]

An overwhelming majority of wealthy Jewish entrepreneurs are philanthropic. Is Mr. Gertler a philanthropist as well? It would surprise me if he wasn't, and this is certainly relevant information that ought to be contained in this article if the information exists. Adamgold33 (talk) 14:11, 28 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind. I found the following: “תורם קבוע לקרנות למען חולי איידס, לרשת החינוך מגדל אור, לארגוני חב"ד ול"מאורות הדף היומי", שמטרתו הנחלת לימוד הדף היומי בתלמוד הבבלי. " in the Hebrew version of the article. This is easily translatable and I'll try to add it when I get a free moment, bl"n. --Adamgold33 (talk) 14:19, 28 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect dates

[edit]

Quoted from the article "The DGI Group of Companies ("DGI") was founded by Dan Gertler in 1992." If this is true, he would have been 19 years old (born 1973) and this is very unlikely. Israeli males serve three years in the military from the age of 18. — Ineuw talk 21:00, 17 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

there's a verb missing here or something

[edit]

The hedge fund Och-Ziff Capital Management Gertler's Camrose $150-million via Africa Management and Vipar. In this way Sexwale and associates aided Gertler in selling Kalukundi, "grabbed" by a third party, back to its original owner (Wood et al. 2012)."[1]
